A fashionable vest that combines knitting and crocheting .
It’s made of cotton using size 3.5 knitting needles; the crocheting is also done with size 3.5 hooks.

The knitted sections are worked in straight rows, as are the crocheted borders.

The pattern is kept so simple that even beginners can handle it!!

I would describe this poncho more as a soul warmer. For me, it’s one of my most-worn pieces of clothing. It’s lighter than a jacket, can be quickly pulled over your head, leaves your arms free, and keeps you just as warm as a jacket or vest.

The poncho is knitted from 200 g of sock yarn. The pattern is designed to be very simple, so even beginners with basic knowledge can manage it wonderfully.

Here’s the knitting pattern for the poncho made from sock yarn.

This merino wool cardigan (bottom-up raglan) has a perfect fit thanks to its waffle stitch pattern. The measurements in the pattern are suitable for sizes 38–42. The pockets are knitted right into the fabric, making them very sturdy.

Recommended for skilled and experienced knitters.

This colorful knitted jacket with pockets and a hood fits children in sizes 92–104. The pockets are knitted in and only sewn on at the back on one side. Otherwise, there are no seams. It is knitted raglan from the top down.

Especially in the transitional seasons, and also on cool summer days, a jacket like this is very practical. Children will appreciate having pockets to store their treasures. And mothers appreciate it when a hood is “built in” too.

Recommended for skilled and experienced knitters.

The baby needs a cardigan too. This one is knitted from 6-ply sock yarn and fits approx. 3–12 months. The pattern is easy to knit and is also suitable for beginners (with basic knowledge). It can be used on both sides. A pattern for a hat is also included.

Soul warmer and cuffs - crocheted to look knitted - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - quick and easy to crochet or knit

The illustrated PDF pattern  includes both the crochet pattern and the knitting pattern for the soul warmer and the arm/leg warmers.

Yarns of your choice are possible - yarn consumption can vary greatly.
My yarn consumption when using an alpaca yarn, 50 g – 100 m, according to the ball band for needle size 3–4, but used here: crochet hook size 8.0

  • for the soul warmer approx. 500 g in the crochet version
(approx. 800 g in the knitted version with needle size 6.0),
  • for the warmers approx. 100 g in both versions

Soul warmers are simply the best companions in every season!

The combination of 2 patterns brings liveliness into play.
The edging is worked at an angle in a simple way, creating the creative "jacket effect".

The cut of the soul warmer requires no decreases or increases at all...
... which is why it is also absolutely recommended for beginners!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process row by row.
For clarity, 3 crochet charts can be found in the pattern.
In addition, 3 diagrams help - step by step - with creating the shrug.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern describes exactly how the soul warmer can easily
be adjusted to any size.
The included template and the gauge help with that!

And here is the pattern and more details...

A soul warmer like this is ideal for spring!
In this mustard yellow, it’s simply unbeatable!

This creative zigzag pattern is simply fun to make and looks fantastic on top of that.
