Dear users, dear designers,
what are you working on at the moment? Is there a UFO among them?
Let me know.

Hi Josefa, I’m currently working on a shawl and a crocheted dress. Since I don’t have much time for crafts right now, unfortunately, both of these might end up as UFOs.

If my cardigan keeps giving me trouble, it’ll probably become a UFO. I’m going to set it aside for a few days to regroup, because I’m slowly losing steam on this project.
I have to take apart a whole section, unravel it, redo it, and then knit the sleeves and pockets and pick out buttons.

Tomorrow my new yarn for a commission will arrive, so I’ll focus on that for now.

Hello,

I’m currently working on a stacking bear for my cousin’s son.
He’s turning 1 on Sunday, and it’s going to be his birthday present.

So I’ll probably be busy with it until the weekend.

Best, Heike

Hello
I’m actually working on various designs and patterns for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
But since I became a grandma earlier than planned, I now need to quickly finish my baby items first and also crochet and knit new baby items, because the ones I’ve finished are much too big.

Happy Grandma

I finished my tunic yesterday; I just need to make a drawstring. I guess I’ll have to twist some threads, but I’ll check YouTube to see if there’s anything I need to keep in mind and how much thread I’ll need. Or maybe someone here knows that off the top of their head?
In between, I’m crocheting a shawl. Unfortunately, I have to keep referring to the pattern, but I hope I’ll get far enough that I can take it with me on the subway tomorrow :D

@dadade
Congratulations on becoming a grandma.

I’m being very good today and continuing to work on my UFO. I hope I can finish it this month.

Congratulations on your grandchild, Dadade! I hope everyone is doing well!
I’m still working on my top—the back is finished, and now I’ve started on the front.

Dadade: Congratulations on the grandchild.

Can you call the garden a UFO????

We moved in December, and there are some really ugly things in the garden...

I know exactly how I want it to look. I’m just not that talented when it comes to improvising. First, I’m going to get rid of the ugly white planters and the even uglier plants inside them, and then see if I can maybe repaint them. Then they’ll go out on the patio, which is sooooo bare. And I want to turn it into a fairy garden (I stole that idea from Nadeleule. I love this forum—you get such great ideas here....
We’ll see

This is the sad patio

I'm in the garden, too. This is what it looks like.

@ Dadade: Congratulations on the grandchild! :)

@ Arni: Our garden is also a UFO :D We moved into our newly built house in October. The inside is nice, but outside the house it looks like a total mess...

I have a long-term UFO in the works... my motif blanket, which I work on one row at a time every now and then...

Other than that, none. I started a shawl yesterday and will be starting a wedding gift in the next few days.

But I’m afraid the shawl will turn into a UFO… I got vaccinated a week ago and have had severe pain in my arm ever since… It keeps getting better, but then mysteriously gets worse again in the evenings.
I suspect it’s from crocheting… So I’m going to take it easy for the next few days :(

Many, many thanks for your congratulations,
Yes, mother and baby are both doing well so far
she is a bit small, though (1800gr)
but healthy

Thank you

P.S. Making baby things is also great fun,
so the rest can happily wait

I’d also like to offer my heartfelt congratulations to the new grandma, Dadade! :-)

I’m still working on my pillow, but I’m already on the back now. To make sure it doesn’t become a UFO, I’m going to finish knitting it before I start anything new.

Marion: I definitely like your garden better. In that one flower bed, I can’t even tell what’s a hedge and what’s a weed :-(

I’d love to just rip it all out

Actually, I’m working on a UFO that’s been sitting in my box for a year. I’ve unraveled half of it and am crocheting it all over again.

I actually finished crocheting the “Butter” for my friend’s little one yesterday.
It just looks totally misshapen, though. I hope she’ll like it anyway.

And then I started on the shawl for my coworker.
This is actually the third time I’ve made it, because the pattern didn’t quite look right to me. Unfortunately, you can’t really tell how it’ll turn out until you’ve worked 4–5 rows.
Now I have one that goes perfectly with the colors and suits my coworker.
I’m also going to write up the pattern right away so I don’t have to write and finalize everything all at once later.

If apartments count as UFOs, then mine definitely is one.

Other than that, I’m working on a lace shawl and hoping it turns out this time.
I really don’t feel like ripping it back again.

My roll-up case for the Tunisian crochet hooks is just about finished—now I just need to crochet around the edges. Now I want to tackle another Tunisian crochet project. UFOs? Definitely the garden and the attic!
