Crochet pattern for the “Anchor” bag

This small bag with its anchor motif is a real eye-catcher and ideal for vacation. It has room for the essentials and makes a great travel companion.

The bag is crocheted using the tapestry technique with the waistcoat stitch.
The waistcoat stitch is explained in the pattern and isn’t all that difficult.

The pattern is beginner-friendly and written without abbreviations.

A backpack as gift wrapping? Exactly! This backpack is a suitable way to wrap a gift, especially for a child’s first day of school, or even an original alternative to a traditional school cone.

The backpack is made of photo cardstock (colored cardstock) and measures approximately 16.5 x 22.5 x 9 cm. It’s quick and easy to make, and the colors can be changed to suit the new student’s taste.

A roomy shopping net for Mother’s Day that also works wonderfully as a beach bag, since the sand can trickle through the holes. The filet stitch is very easy to crochet and is explained in detail in the pattern. The bag is crocheted in two different shades of pink, but it also looks very harmonious when made with gradient yarn.
It’s quick to crochet, so you’ll definitely have it finished in time for Mother’s Day.Click here for the pattern!

Even small bags are useful—for example, this little bag can hold 10 tissues. It’s quick and easy to crochet, even for beginners with basic skills.

The pattern describes different variations. Leftover yarn is enough for the bag.

A shopping bag is always useful, especially now when the market is full of the most wonderful things. A bag like this is also wonderfully easy to knit yourself.
You’ll need a few skeins of cotton and a matching circular knitting needle. These are very approximate details—that’s because you can knit this bag in a wide variety of yarn weights, and the amount needed depends on that.

You can find out more about it here.

A handbag with goldfish also looks great and is something not everyone has. For it, you’ll need cotton with a yardage of 125 m per 50 g (1 skein of each color), a 3 mm knitting needle, and also a crochet hook for the handles. The section with the fish is knitted (knitting chart for the fish included), and the handles are then crocheted.

Casual and timelessly beautiful, this modern shoulder bag is a great companion for everyday life! Elegant in natural tones, classic and casual in shape, it goes with many outfits and is a real eye-catcher.

In the photos, you can see the embroidered front and the non-embroidered back. Of course, you can embroider both sides or leave the bag “plain” — just as you like.

Here’s the pattern

Detailed description as a PDF file with crochet chart and step-by-step photos.

This monster bag is not only an eye-catcher at Halloween, but also a loyal companion for all monster fans. The  bag is crocheted mainly with single crochet stitches, making it suitable for beginners too.
