Here in the north, after a not-so-great weekend, it’s mild again and sunny at times—the weeds are growing faster than you can keep up with.

I’m doing great, because my cat is like a different cat and almost back to his old self. I’ve also decided it’s time for a change and am going to get my really long hair cut tomorrow (let’s see if I still feel this great afterward).

In the south (BW), the weather has been nice for a few days now. It’s already 24 degrees—you can’t help but feel good when it’s that warm.
I can’t complain.

I’m going to sit out in the garden with the dog and my knitting and carry on knitting.
We were out in the woods this morning, and I wore my new sweater for the first time.

Petra, I’m glad your tomcat is feeling better.

Petra, I’m also glad that you and your cat are doing great again! :-)

It’s raining here and pretty chilly compared to the last few days. No big deal. I have some urgent work to take care of today anyway, and tomorrow too. So it works out perfectly.

Today here in the Lower Rhine region, it’s sunny and 19 degrees.
I decided on a whim to spruce up my fairy garden. The “big” garden will get some attention later, too ;)

it’s sunny here and 20°C. I’m about to get off work, then I’ll quickly go shopping and
then head out to the balcony with my crochet stuff.
I’m really looking forward to it.

Gray skies, with rain every now and then. I’m feeling pretty lazy.

Mel, your fairy garden looks great! I love elves and fairies and have lots of them scattered around my apartment.

The fairy garden is soooo wonderfully kitschy. ... lovely. I think I want something like that too. My husband will just have to accept it.
That’s going on my patio by the kitchen.

  This morning the weather was still pretty good.... Now it’s pouring.
. I’m going to cut some fabric in a minute. My husband is away on a business trip from Wednesday to Friday, and I want to use that time for sewing. If he wants to watch TV, I don’t want to sew with the sewing machine, and when he’s around, I don’t want to sew in another room either.

I’ve decided to sew whenever he’s not there. But at least one project a month, and I also want to work through my fabric stash. But a real “fabric diet” wouldn’t work - I always still need something to go with it :-)

A little kitsch in the garden is fine—there’s no room for it in the apartment, and it just wouldn’t fit there anyway. My daughter likes fairies, and I enjoy crafting. There are also a few hidden in the flower bed.....

Did you make those fairies yourself????? When are you coming over to make some for me :-)))))

Today it was cloudy here (Vienna) and it rained lightly in the evening. It was also a bit cooler than the last few days. I’m currently knitting a shawl and crocheting a dress, but nothing really made me happy today. Instead, I studied more for school, which is also pretty good.

Arni—no, I didn’t make the fairies myself; I just built the house :) I’m not that good with fine motor skills! The “big” fairies are only 15 cm tall. I could never do that....

Nadeleule: Well, that puts my mind at ease. :-)

The weather’s nice here. It’s still a bit chilly, but that’s supposed to change later.
Strawberry seedlings are starting to show up in my balcony planters. There’s also a little mint plant that I once bought as a potted herb at the supermarket.
All of these plants spent the winter out on the balcony without any protection.
