This triangular shawl quickly draws attention with its beautiful lace pattern and waves. It is fun to knit (for advanced knitters).

The shawl can be buttoned at the front, so it can also be worn as a poncho, depending on your wishes and needs.

It is knitted from lightweight cotton, nice and airy, yet still keeps your shoulders and upper body warm on cool days.

Here is the knitting pattern for the triangular shawl with lace pattern and waves.

This cute, colorful children’s jacket with a special striped pattern is extremely practical, especially during the transitional seasons. It’s comfortable, has pockets (very important for children), and a hood in case a cool wind does come up.

The jacket is knitted in one piece with raglan from the top down. Only one back side of the pockets is sewn on; otherwise there are no seams.

The pattern is written in a print-friendly format. It includes pages with and without photos. The described size fits sizes 92–104, so the jacket grows with the child.

The stripes on this poncho come naturally from the sock yarn. It’s very easy to knit, even for beginners with basic skills. I used 200 g of sock yarn with a cashmere blend for this poncho. It’s especially soft. I now simply wear it over a sweater between seasons when I get a bit chilly. I take the poncho with me everywhere because it’s very easy to fit into any bag.

Who doesn’t know Grandma’s polka-dot coffee set?
Here you can crochet the milk jug and the coffee cup as potholders. The potholders are worked double, so you can slip your hand in at the top. They are crocheted with single crochet stitches, and the bobble pattern for the dots is explained in detail in the pattern. For the material, I used Catania by Schachenmayr (yardage 125 m/50 g) and a 3.0 mm crochet hook.

You can purchase the patterns for the coffee cup and milk jug individually or together in the value set. You save over 20% compared to buying them separately.

Click on the corresponding images and you’ll get to the value set or to the individual patterns!

Here with diagonal stripes:

Crochet pattern for the FARBENSPIEL triangular shawl

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Ideal for beginners too

Cheerfully colorful – in your favorite colors (also great for using up leftovers, if you like), this triangular shawl can be crocheted quickly in just a few evenings – very relaxing..
and a wonderful gift for all kinds of occasions.

These crochet skills are enough:
chain stitches, single crochet and slip stitches (all explained with pictures)

Materials:
Basically, you can use any yarn you like with the appropriate hook size; it is especially well suited for fine yarns, lace yarns, and gradient yarns (e.g. cakes).

For the size crocheted here, I used: a total of approx. 350 g Limone/Catania cotton yarn, 100% cotton, 50 g – 125 m, any color choice, here 8 colors (partly using up leftovers); according to the label for hook size 2.5 – 3.5; used here: 3.5 crochet hook.
You will also need: yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. A stitch marker is helpful for beginners, pins for blocking.

Actually, these are stripes that are knitted into this shopping bag. But because slipped stitches are also used, a diamond-shaped pattern is created. It looks difficult, but in reality it is very easy. All you need are knitting needles and cotton yarn in two different colors.

You can find the pattern here.

Narrow stripes on one side, an elongated V on the other side—that’s how you could describe this scarf. It creates an exciting contrast, but I’d recommend it more for experienced knitters.

You can read more about it here.

That's how crisp and wonderful stripes can look. Simply crochet each row in a new color, and you'll have fresh new summer fashion for Barbie and her friends. And you really only need a few leftover bits of cotton yarn for it.

If you feel like making even more beyond the summery set, you can keep your crochet hook in hand and crochet more beautiful doll clothes. It's fun for you, and your children and grandchildren will be thrilled. Here is a small selection of other possibilities:

I hope you have lots of fun making it. Yours, Ina
