Here’s something a little out of the ordinary for you: a paper door wreath! To be precise, it’s made from photo cardstock—a sturdy type of paper that gives the wreath its precise shape and stability.

This wreath uses fairly small scraps of photo cardstock in four colors; you’ll also need some decorative ribbon. The finished wreath measures 30 x 30 cm. If you already have some crafting experience, you’ll find this wreath very easy to make.

Just in time for spring -
it's already warmer, but staying outside longer is more comfortable with wrist warmers :-)

The lace pattern adds an airy flair - the mohair quality still provides the necessary warmth!

A detailed step-by-step description as well as
an additional chart in knitting chart form guide you through the knitting process.

The finished wrist warmers are about 26 cm long.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

This colorful knitted cardigan with a hood and pockets for toddlers (sizes 92 - 104) is a lovely challenge for advanced knitters. Basically, it is easy to knit, including the pattern. Only at the raglan shaping are there a few things to keep in mind. It is definitely fun. For me, this cardigan is one of my highlights, because the parents of my grandchild absolutely love it.

The cardigan can be worn year-round; it is especially ideal in spring and fall. For summer, it can also be knitted from cotton if the yardage specified here is observed.

The knitting pattern describes all steps very precisely, partly with photos.

Here is the knitting pattern for the colorful children's cardigan with a hood and pockets - with top-down raglan.

The knitting pattern describes all the steps in great detail, and the pattern chart is also included. The stated measurements fit universally from approximately size 36 - 42.

For advanced knitters, it is a fun challenge that never gets boring.

A cable pattern is definitely a challenge

Knitted booties with a beautiful cable pattern.

You start at the sole with two needles, then later switch to a set of double-pointed needles and knit in rounds.

Depending on the yarn length and needle size, the booties will have a sole length between 9 and 11.5 cm.

Here is the pattern

Wild Life Pot Holders / Tunisian crochet

For anyone looking for a new crochet challenge, Tunisian crochet is an absolute must.
This pot holder will bring a wild touch to your kitchen—and even in other colors, this little helper is a real eye-catcher.
The motif is crocheted using the Tunisian simple stitch following a chart; there’s a practice section in the pattern.

The following stitches are used:
  • Tunisian simple stitch
  • Chain stitches, single crochet, and half double crochet
  • Crab stitch
As always, the pattern is written in a beginner-friendly way without any abbreviations.
Have fun with this new challenge :-)

For more experienced knitters, I have a lace-pattern stole to offer here. In and of itself, it isn't difficult, but you do need to concentrate a bit. The pattern is written out and also shown in a knitting chart.

Here’s the stole.

A challenge for true experts is this knitted scarf in double-face technique. Various motifs that mirror after the halfway point line up one after another. Beginners, hands off!

Here’s the pattern.

Elfenreigen is a wonderful summer scarf that can also be worn as a narrow stole.
The lace pattern requires a bit of concentration but is presented both as a chart and row by row.

Knitting pattern Baby traditional vest size 86/92 with intarsia cable

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Intarsia technique with color changes

For this special sleeveless baby vest without buttons, we need:

150 g gray merino wool 50 g red merino wool, here Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120, 50 g – 120 m yarn length, gauge according to the ball band: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitting needles 3.0 – 4.0; here: knitting needles 4.0, cable needle, crochet hook 3.5 for the bow, stitch holder or similar for placing stitches on hold, yarn needle for weaving in ends, stitch marker is helpful.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

The red cable on the back is made using the intarsia technique (illustrated explanation is included) and requires a bit of time and skill - so I would not recommend it for beginner knitters.
