Looking for a curling iron for thick hair

Hi,

I have very long and thick hair. It’s always pretty hard to style because it’s just too heavy. However, I’d still like to have curls every now and then, which is why I’m now looking for a good curling iron. On this site, I’ve read good reviews about a Remington curling iron. Will this one curl my hair? Does anyone know? Or does it depend more on the styling products? Could you recommend anything? None of the products I’ve used so far have worked!

In my experience, you should section off as thin strands as possible and use a heat protectant spray. Then it usually works with any curling iron.
Let the strands cool down a bit before you unwind them.

As an alternative to a curling iron—and gentler on your hair—you can wrap thinner strands around foam rollers.
Leave them in your hair overnight.
