The pre-holiday rush is over—now you can take time again for new crochet projects.

This bag made using the filet crochet technique is a wonderful gift for Mom: for Mother’s Day (which is coming up faster than you think), her birthday, or just because. The bag measures 40 x 50 cm, making it very roomy. It’s very sturdy and works well as a shopping bag, but also as a beach bag.

Thanks to the filet crochet technique (which is explained in detail in the pattern), the project comes together quickly. You’ll need just under 400 g of cotton yarn in two colors (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr: 125 g of light pink and 150 g of hot pink), but the pattern also looks great when made with a gradient yarn cake.

The pattern includes a chart and a step-by-step row-by-row description. The pattern is also great for crocheting outdoors, since the pattern is simple and easy to remember. It’s suitable for beginners, too.

A knitted potholder really isn't hard at all!

which is usually different from the front.
I made a pattern here that looks the same on both sides.
Handmade gifts are always special gifts!

The perfect crochet project for Easter weekend is this tissue box cover. It can be crocheted very easily and quickly, even from leftover yarn, and looks great anywhere. A real eye-catcher with the butterflies and hearts. And of course, it also makes a wonderful gift idea.

The pattern is written so that even beginners with basic knowledge can crochet the box without any trouble.

Simple and elegant—that’s the Aquarius. With its diamond pattern, it’s perfect for everyday wear, but it can also be worn as an elegant accessory with a dirndl.
This shawl is absolutely beginner-friendly if you want to learn how to knit from a knitting chart or aren’t quite ready to tackle more difficult projects yet.
