Well, I’ll start then… I’ve actually written this before and just had to copy it *giggle*
I also found my way here for the first time in January 2016 or so, via Google. I was looking for a pattern for slippers—crocheted Chucks, I think. I signed up right away, paid, downloaded it, and never actually crocheted them *lol* After that, I didn’t give crafts another thought.
Then, in the summer of 2017, I kept seeing suggestions for Crazypatterns posts on Facebook. At some point, I felt like giving crocheting a try (I used to knit a lot, but never crocheted), reactivated my account, and quickly found something to make. After a bit of a false start due to merciless overconfidence (hurray, my first UFO), I’m now crocheting like there’s no tomorrow ;-) and have even started knitting again.
So, via Google and Facebook.
CP always popped up during my Facebook visits. At first, I thought it was a page by Nataljia. Over time, there were more and more authors. In February 2014, I signed up as an author, and I’ve never regretted it to this day.
Best regards, Petra
I did a classic Google search for platforms where I could sell my patterns. CrazyPatterns came up pretty quickly, and voilà! I’ve been here for almost 3 years now and feel right at home. ☺
At first, I bought craft patterns the old-fashioned way—in magazines. But then my collection of magazines got too big for my small living room. So I searched online for relevant forums, and CP kept popping up on various platforms. I clicked on it—and that’s how I ended up here.
I think CP is just great, and the patterns are simply fantastic. I’ve already made many of them and brought joy to the people I love. The next person I’ll be giving a gift to is my dad—he’s getting a beer mug made from a pattern I found here for his birthday in April.
I found CP through Google. After taking a break from knitting and crocheting for over 20 years, I was looking for knitting patterns for baby clothes in late 2016. I ended up here after clicking on a photo. At first, I tried out the free patterns and was very surprised by how comprehensive and detailed they were. Then I took a closer look around and discovered quite a few gems that I just had to buy.
Just four months later, in March 2017, I signed up here as a pattern designer. I’ve really come to enjoy designing my own patterns and writing instructions for them. These days, I don’t even have time to work through the patterns I’ve downloaded. ;-)
I especially appreciate this forum and the chance to connect with others here.
I started crocheting about 6 months ago. It was hard at first. I started with pot holders that looked awful in the beginning. I bought a book, but eventually got bored with it.
So I started searching on Google and found what I was looking for on this site. Beautiful creations and easy-to-follow patterns.
Many thanks to everyone who makes all of this possible.
Happy Easter ????????
I don’t remember exactly when I first found this site, but it was through Google, because I wanted to know what amigurumi were. I didn’t know that back then.
So I started looking for patterns, and that’s how I ended up on CP. I’ve stayed because this place is so great :-)
