Dear users, dear authors,
Spring has officially begun. The clock change is also behind us. March ends at Easter.
Are you satisfied with March?
Let me know.
My vacation has started, and I’m focusing on my craft projects—yes, I’d say I’m satisfied. Today I’m going out to buy some yarn so I can finish my dad’s birthday present (a crocheted beer mug—pattern from here).
The weather is supposed to start warming up, even though it’s still pretty cold here. But the first little flowers are already peeking out, and the sun is slowly breaking through the cloud cover.
By the way, I set my clock back an hour instead of setting it forward—I was somehow already in the fall mindset. It was definitely chaos yesterday morning.
Well, as far as the weather goes, we can definitely forget about this month!
Of course, the birth of our third grandchild was a wonderful highlight; the best part of the week is our Skype calls, where we can actually see him—he’s sooo cute!
And finally, my husband is back too...
I can’t complain about my crafting either—I’ve managed to finish a few projects.
Christina, heartfelt congratulations on your new grandson. It’s always a little miracle, isn’t it?
I’m mostly satisfied with March. To be honest, the cold is starting to get on my nerves. I’m looking forward to the garden, the colorful spring flowers, and long walks in the warm sunshine.
I brought a few more ideas to life in March, and they turned out really nice.
If it’s true, then care home places have just become available for our parents. I’m a bit torn about this, because it’s easy to imagine what it means when places become available in a care home. For us, it’s definitely good news. Maybe the move will still happen in March after all. That would be a huge relief.
Ida, I hope everything works out for you! You don’t need to feel bad about it, because that’s just the way the world works. What’s sad for some can help others.
For me, March was so-so. I had surgery, but I came through it just fine. Now I have follow-up treatment after Easter, but I’ll manage that too.
Christina, I hope you have lots of fun with your grandson! My three are always a source of joy and help me get through a lot of things.
Thank you very much for your wishes. Dear Ida and dear Ruth, I wish you both all the best for your parents, for recovery, and for restful Easter holidays.
