Having trouble crocheting?

Hi... I have a question for you today.

Are there any crochet topics you’d like me to explain? Topics you’re having trouble with, like changing colors, choosing yarn, or specific stitches? Or something else entirely? Any stumbling blocks you keep running into while crafting?

it’s a pity that you haven’t had any replies at all yet. I can only tell you how it works for me. When I want to know something about crocheting or other handicraft techniques, I first try things out a bit myself, or I look up what the internet has to say or what’s on YouTube. And only then do I post my question here in the forum. That’s why I don’t currently have any question about handicrafts that would fit what you wrote above. Well, I’m still interested in granny squares, and recently also in macramé.

I think it’s also the case that people who have a question don’t spend ages searching here in the forum first, but just open a thread with the question right away. You can see that from my signature too. The crochet thread for beginners, which you could perhaps compare with your post above in terms of its basic idea, doesn’t attract many people either.

I’d suggest that you simply work out or write down, when you have time, whatever is currently interesting you or whatever you’re working on at the moment. Then people will surely respond and write questions about it too.

In any case, I think it’s nice of you to ask and offer that. I think that’s great.

Well, I think dragon-tail shawls are really popular right now, loop scarves for the summer, and amigurumi, of course—but you already know all that yourself. I can’t tell you anything new there.

No... but there are already lots of eBooks on that... I was hoping there might be some general issues we could cover :-) I’m currently working on a kind of soul warmer :-)
