I’ve developed a bit of a quirk. Since I really dislike sewing individual pieces together, I always crochet the arms, legs, ears, and whatever else is needed directly onto the main body. Of course, this means you have to work “backwards,” but it saves you a lot of frustration when it comes to sewing things on.

Use the smallest hook you can. That way, the holes will be smaller.

Use invisible decreases, also to avoid holes.

Always keep count! Count your stitches every round.

The stuffing gives your amigurumi its shape, so don’t skimp on it!

Pin the body parts securely with sewing pins and check the fit carefully before sewing them on!
