How about a knitting pattern for a cozy, warm scarf?

It was knitted with Rowan Super Fine Merino 4ply yarn with a yardage of 165 m / 50 g. I used 300 g with a 4 mm circular knitting needle to achieve a finished length of 166 cm (short side) / 220 cm (long side) and a width of 26 cm.

The pattern is knitted using only knit and purl stitches, and the pattern repeat is easy to remember. Of course, the scarf can also be knitted with another yarn of your choice. Making it wider or longer is no problem either. The pattern explains exactly how to increase from the tip outward.

This takes you straight to the pattern.

A great project for the weekend is a loop scarf.

Quick to knit with 1–2 skeins of yarn, you can finish a loop like this in just one weekend.

This pattern explains how to make a snug loop—worn like a collar—as a simple loop or a double-wrapped loop, complete with stitch counts and yarn requirements.

Plenty of photos illustrate how to knit the pattern. Instructions are provided both in a knitting chart and in written row-by-row directions.

Click here for the pattern, and once you grab your needles, you can wear your new piece out that very evening.

  For the weekend, I recommend:

heating pad covers!

It’s still cold out, so it’s a good idea to crochet something that keeps you warm and looks cute, too!

Here are two options:
Hippo

Koala

Both patterns are described in detail and include pictures. At the end of each, you’ll find a short version to print out. Materials needed:

Cotton yarn (Catania by Schachenmayr, 50g~125m) (You’ll find the amount, color, and other materials in the item description.)

Skills required:

Magic ring, single crochet, crocheting in spiral rounds (More info in the item description)

It's cold and wintry outside and you don't feel like going out to buy yarn? Then make something with the leftover yarn you already have, e.g. these chicken and rooster egg cozies!

They are easy and quick to crochet. You can make the rooster especially nice and colorful with any colors you like; white or brown works well for the hen. The egg cozies are an eye-catcher on the breakfast table not only at Easter, but all year round!

It gets even more colorful with the spring blossoms egg cozies. Tulip, daffodil, bellflower, and snowdrop keep your eggs warm and bring spring to the table!
Or would you prefer a typical Easter decoration?

Then this Easter bunny pair egg cozy set is definitely just right for you!

All the egg cozies can be crocheted in a short time using just a few bits of leftover yarn. I used Catania cotton (125 m/50 g) for all of them.
Maybe you'll feel like crocheting them all? Then you'll have a cheerful, colorful decoration for Easter breakfast!

A relaxing knitting project is this stole, which is knitted with sock-weight yarn. You can make it in any length and width you like—so basically, you can also use the pattern for a scarf. The pattern is beginner-friendly and consists only of knit and purl stitches.

Here’s the pattern.

This beautiful shopping net is also easy to crochet and quick to make. It’s a real helper in everyday life and is kind to the environment. The lettering adds a cheerful touch, and it also makes a great gift for good friends.

Collar scarves are a great alternative to cowls and scarves for keeping warm in winter...
... you can never have enough of them.

Here, 2 techniques come together CREATIVELY—and harmonize beautifully:
Tartan + Tapestry

Who says the tartan technique only shines in knitwear? Far from it.
Crocheted pieces can be wonderfully spiced up too!

The method looks sophisticated, but is so easy to work that even beginners will enjoy it!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
To make things clearer, the pattern includes 1 crochet chart .
In addition, a template with an integrated diagram helps you through the crochet process.

The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated (16 images).
The tapestry technique is explained separately as well.

When laid out flat, the scarf has a size of about 34 x 105 cm.
However, it can easily be made smaller or larger as needed.
The included template and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

A soul warmer like this is ideal for spring and summer.
In this mustard yellow, it’s simply unbeatable!

This zigzag pattern is simply fun and looks outstanding on top of that.
The edging is worked with a relief pattern, which is simple yet very effective.

The cut of the soul warmer requires no decreases or increases at all...
... making it absolutely recommended for beginners too!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
To make things clearer, the pattern includes 3 crochet charts.
In addition, 3 diagrams help guide you step by step through the crochet process.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains how the shrug can be easily adjusted to any size.
The included cut and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern with more details...
