What's up? :-)

Dear users, dear authors,
how are things going with you?

I’m at work with a terrible cold, just waiting for the day to end.

Tonight there’s also an important parents’ evening for my oldest,
but—thank goodness—it starts at 6 p.m., so hopefully we’ll be back home early.

Then it’s straight to bed. I really don’t feel like crocheting today.

I hope you feel better soon, dear Heike. I totally get that you don’t feel like doing anything except curling up in your cozy bed.

It’s snowing here. It’s been snowing since last night. And they’re saying it’s going to be freezing cold here this weekend. I just think it’s so beautiful that everything outside is white now.
If it really does get down to -20 degrees on Sunday, I’ll curl up behind the stove with my crochet stuff and only pop out briefly for a warm drink.

I have half the day off today and am enjoying an early finish :)

Now I’m going to use the time to chase up my incomplete A...on order and the missing call from the heating technician.

Later, I’ll be taking someone to the doctor, but it’s nothing serious :)

I still have today and tomorrow off, and I’m going to enjoy it. In between, I’ll work on a little crochet project here and there (*laughs* and I still have a few UFOs lying around), or shovel some snow—we’ve got plenty of it.

Since my parents are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary in May, I still have to gather some material for the anniversary newspaper, which I always put together myself.

I have to pop over to the pharmacy later to get some cough medicine for my daughter (we’re sooooo sick of cold season)
I hope I can continue crocheting my firefighter tonight (a request from a grandma friend—for her grandson). We’ll see if it works out...

I’ll be busy reorganizing the basement for the next two weeks.
It’s supposed to be “divided in half,” as I heard from management.

Heike, I hope you get well soon, too, and have a cozy bed to sleep in while you recover!

I’ve made it through the winter so far without any aches and pains. :-)
In every spare minute, I’m knitting up leftover yarn and yarn from my stash. I’ve already started another project—a poncho made from sock yarn. That’s why the sweater for my grandchild has turned into a UFO.

I’m working on that right now and will make sure it’s finished by the end of the month.

We have snow here, and I’m looking forward to a walk in the sun.

I wish everyone who is sick a speedy recovery. Unfortunately, I was laid up myself for 4 weeks. It’s really bad this year. 
Thankfully, I’m not running out of ideas, and the next projects are already being test-knit, or still on my needles.
