My new creative highlight is this colorful spring meadow that you can now bring to life on your table. It includes a placemat, various egg cozies, and flower table scatter decorations.

Best of all, you can crochet all of this using leftover yarn. And it’s easy for beginners with basic crochet skills to recreate.

The pattern is written so that the photos are mostly placed on pages you don’t need to print. There are also no abbreviations—everything is written out in full.

A creative idea for Easter decor is the bunny "Nikolausi-Osterhasi". At first glance, it’s a completely normal crocheted Easter bunny. But it has a surprise inside, in the truest sense of the word!
When you turn the inside of the bunny outward,

the bunny turns into Santa Claus! So you can enjoy your decoration in both spring and winter!
The reversible doll is crocheted from cotton yarn with a length of 125 m/50 g (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr). You’ll also need some fluffy yarn and a thin white carry-along yarn for the beard and the white fur, a 2.5 mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, and possibly safety eyes.
I hope you have lots of fun making it!
You can find the pattern here!

This gift box is definitely creative and original! Its unusual shape also leaves plenty of room for creativity when wrapping: by skillfully arranging preferably several smaller gifts, it provides delightful surprises right down to the very last corner.

The pyramid is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 18.5 x 13.5 x 18.5 cm. It’s easy to make and, thanks to the detailed craft instructions, well suited even for beginners.

For Easter—but not only then..

Knitting Pattern Egg Cozy BIGGI - quick and easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Funny egg cozies, not just for Easter! They’re also an ideal way to use up leftover yarn.

Quick and easy to knit in one evening in front of the TV, they make a last-minute little gift for any occasion.

Basic knitting skills are enough.
We knit in rounds with a set of double-pointed needles. Decorations can be added as desired and according to your own creativity.

Materials:
Basically, any yarn can be used with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the ball band.

1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g–15 g yarn (leftover) + small bits of leftover yarn for decorating; here: set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “knotting in hair”; yarn needle for weaving in ends, possibly sewing needle and buttons, measuring tape, scissors.

Recommendation: embroider the eyes in black if the egg cozies are used as amigurumi for babies/toddlers.

Included in the PDF download:

  • Quick instructions in text form, developed for yarns with approx. 105 m length per 50 g
  • Step-by-step illustrated pattern, developed for yarns with approx. 85 m length per 50 g
each knitted with a set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 (this makes the egg cozies nice and dense and lets them stand on their own)

  • Photo tutorial “embroidering in duplicate stitch
  • Photo tutorial “knotting in hair with a crochet hook "
  • Separate PDF pattern for the “double long-tail cast-on

Cowl collars are a great alternative to loops and scarves for keeping warm in winter...
... you can never have enough of them.

Here, 2 techniques come together CREATIVELY—and harmonize beautifully:
Tartan + Tapestry

Who says the tartan technique only comes into its own in knitwear? Far from it!
Crocheted pieces can also be wonderfully spruced up!

The construction looks sophisticated, yet is so easy to work that even beginners will enjoy it!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
For clarification, the pattern includes 1 crochet chart .
In addition, a cutting diagram with an integrated schematic helps you through the crochet process.

The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated (16 images).
The tapestry technique is also explained separately.

When rolled out, the scarf has a size of about 34 x 105 cm.
However, it can be made smaller or larger as needed without much effort.
The included template and the gauge help with that!

And here is the pattern and more details...

These fingerless mitts are perfect for that!

The simple yet sophisticated cable pattern is fun, and the result is simply delightful.
And if you like, you can creatively spruce them up with rhinestones!

A detailed description guides you step by step through the knitting process.
It also includes a knitting chart to help you through the pattern repeat.

Also a lovely project for beginners who want to expand their skills!

The length of the finished mitts is about 20 cm.

I’d like to introduce you to my double-knitted scarf. To be honest, this wasn’t my own creation. The original pattern is on the carved wooden door of an old farmhouse and is made of wood. An unknown artist with a love of detail created it a long time ago. It fascinated me so much that I wanted to recreate it in knitted stitches.
Although it’s a relatively simple double-knitting motif from a purely technical knitting perspective, I’d still recommend this scarf to more experienced knitters. The two-color motif is shown in a knitting chart.

You can find the pattern here.

Way up north, there are very special sheep... pincushion sheep. They stand on their little hills decorated with buttons and have adorned themselves with colorful pins, and whenever someone needs their help, they are there in a flash. They make sure you always have a needle at hand.

Crochet these sweet little pincushion sheep for yourself, with their funny wooden spool feet. They are wonderfully useful for needlework and also make a great gift, for example for a sewing friend.
