Knitting Pattern “Fluffy Chick”:

This cute chick is easy and very quick to make. No set of double-pointed needles—just knit in rows! All you need is a few meters of fluffy textured yarn and some red yarn for the beak.

You can also use leftover yarn—you’ll only need 12 meters of yarn (85m/50g). If you have thinner textured yarn (85m/25g), simply use it doubled! (You’ll need 23–25 meters then.)

And it’s not just about leftover yellow yarn—if the bird is knitted in brown, for example, it becomes a sparrow; in black, a raven; with a yellow beak, a blackbird… :)

The egg cozy measures about 4.5 cm in diameter. The exact size depends on your yarn and how tightly or loosely you knit.

Difficulty level:
Easy.

I hope you have fun knitting!

A wonderful decoration to put you in a good mood!

Here is the pattern.

I designed the little monkey mainly as a Christmas tree ornament. But it also works perfectly as:
  • an edge sitter
  • a note holder
  • a business card holder
  • a small gift
  • even as a little jewelry stand
  • and as a decorative chain made of several little monkeys
Thanks to the wire in the arms, legs, and tail, the little monkey can “hold” various funny poses and hold candy or small gifts in its hands

Difficulty level:
fairly easy.
Size:
depending on the yarn, e.g.:
Yarn length 150m/25g = approx. 5.5 cm thick and approx. 8.5 cm long from the top of the head to the feet.
Yarn length 125m/50g = approx. 11 cm thick and approx. 17 cm long.
You need:
  • Crochet yarn and matching crochet hook
  • stuffing
  • Copper wire Ø 1 mm or steel wire Ø 0.5 mm
  • Textile fabric roll plaster
  • Flat-nose pliers with cutter or flat-nose pliers and side cutters
  • Pins
  • Sewing needle and scissors
The little figure can be used as decoration and is NOT suitable for too much bending and unbending! NOT suitable as a children’s toy (only suitable if you make it without wire).

I hope you have lots of fun crocheting it!

The little chick comes with its friend, the Easter bunny. Both love surprises, so they have room in their bellies for a little something: a chocolate egg, a praline, a small piece of jewelry, a voucher, or some money.
The chick and the bunny are crocheted around an empty Kinder Surprise egg capsule. From the outside, you can’t tell that they can be opened. What a surprise when you discover that!
I used fluffy yarn (Rico Baby Teddy and Phildar Phil douce) for the two of them. But you can also crochet them with cotton yarn or any other yarn of your choice.

How about an orange wash mitt? It adds a pop of color to the bathroom and is fun to knit, too. It has a colorful ring at the top that’s a bit more complicated to knit (knitting chart included), but otherwise the mitt is made in a simple knit-purl pattern.

You can knit a colorful shopping bag, too. It adds color to everyday life. You'll need thick cotton in two colors and a circular knitting needle. The pattern is a simple slip-stitch pattern that looks much more complicated than it actually is.

Here’s the pattern.

In your preferred colors:

Knitting Pattern Hat ALL-SEASON BEANIE made from sock yarn

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

For this feather-light all-season beanie, which is made with knitting needles in various sizes (the brim with size 3.5 needles, the main part with size 6.0 needles, the decreases with 4.5 and 4.0) and, for the decoration, with a size 3.0 - 4.0 crochet hook, 70 g of 6-ply sock yarn is enough, though usually 1 skein is 150 g. So you can easily knit a small loop scarf or even 1 pair of socks up to shoe size 36/37 from the leftover yarn :-)

By the way: you can find a sock-knitting course for 6-ply sock yarn here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/22205/strickanleitung-socken-aus-6-faedigem-garn-lehrgang-mit-tabellen-fuer-alle-groessen

With colorful sock yarn, the color gradient appears automatically—just like in this picture.

These knitting skills are needed:
knit stitches, purl stitches, knitting in the round, right-leaning slipped decreases.

Crochet skills
: chain stitches, slip stitches

  • Also leftover yarn in white, light blue, and black for the eyes, apricot for the tail and nose, and various other colors for the Easter eggs. (a good way to use up leftover yarn)

The bag is made of cardstock and measures approximately 25.5 x 26 x 9 cm. It’s very easy to make and only requires a little perseverance when cutting out the flowers.

Lots of orange, yellow, and a little red....

These colors really put you in a springtime mood right away. And with this sweater, the little ones are perfectly dressed when it’s not quite warm yet, but Old Man Winter has already said goodbye.

This pattern is available in two sizes (6 months and 9 months), and I knitted it using a soft yarn with a yardage of 160 m / 50 g.

This polo sweater for toddlers made from red and yellow cotton is a colorful eye-catcher and suitable for every season. It can be knitted from the bottom up almost seamlessly. The pattern describes all the steps in simple terms. However, you should have some knitting experience.

The described size fits sizes 86-92. If the sleeves and body are knitted a little longer, the sweater will fit for a bit longer, too.
