Just a quick hello

Hello everyone,

I’m new here and I’m curious—how many men are there in your group? And how old are they? I’m a man myself, turning 50 in April, and a grandfather of three. I started crocheting again a while back. After 37 years, I’m slowly getting back into it. I started with the free patterns, but I can see I’ll have to top up my account.

Well, as far as I know, there are definitely at least 3 men who write their own patterns and sell them here. Maybe there are more??? I’d be interested to know too!!
With 3 grandchildren, you’ve also got a great target audience. In any case, I hope you have lots of fun discovering many great patterns... and I’m sure... you’ll get back into it very quickly... and then you’ll have to make sure it doesn’t become an addiction.

You definitely won’t get bored here, because there are threads (groups) for specific topics. For example, we’re currently learning Tunisian crochet. It’s much more fun when we do it together. If you’d like to take a look, here’s the thread:

I’m a guy here too, but I mainly buy the patterns to give as gifts since I’ve realized I’m better at bricklaying than at crafts. I often don’t have the time to browse either. As for your question about how many men there are and how old they are, I don’t have an answer—but that’s not really important anyway. Well, I wish you the best of luck browsing.
