This cute little bear is a cuddly sleep companion for babies and toddlers. It’s as light as a feather, and best of all, it’s hand-knitted with lots of love by Grandma or Mom. What could be better for a baby!

The cuddly bear is very easy to knit, so it’s perfect even for beginners with basic skills. You can even use leftover yarn to make it.

It was crocheted from cotton (125 m / 50 g, e.g., Schachenmayr Catania) and with a 2.5 mm and a 3 mm hook. 

This is a written step-by-step pattern with lots of pictures; there is also a crochet chart for the granny cloth. 



You should be familiar with the following: 
• chain stitches
• slip stitches
• single crochet
• double crochet.

You will receive a detailed 16-page pattern with lots of photos for quick and easy making.
The cuddly pillow has a finished size of approx. 45 x 45 cm, measured without the head and paws.

It is crocheted like a cover and suitable for a 40 x 40 cm pillow insert.

You should know how to crochet single crochet stitches, half double crochet, double crochet and treble crochet stitches, as well as chain stitches and slip stitches. Also well suited for beginners

Materials needed:

• Crocheted with fluffy yarn, hook size 6–7 mm (in this case I used “myboshi Flausch”), in the colors kolibri (7 balls of 50 g each, yardage 90 m / 50 g), Schneeeule (1 ball of 50 g, yardage 90 m / 50 g)
• Yarn for hook size 3–4 mm (yardage 133 m / 50 g) in the colors white, pink, mint, turquoise and black. Leftovers are enough.
• Crochet hooks sizes 7 mm and 3.5 mm
• Yarn needle, darning needle, stuffing
• Pillow insert size 40 x 40 cm
• possibly some hook-and-loop tape to sew on (approx. 5 cm)
