They are quick and easy to knit in one evening in front of the TV.

Basic knitting skills are enough.
We knit in rounds with a set of double-pointed needles. Embellishments can be added as desired and according to your own creativity.

Materials:
Basically, you can use any yarn with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the label.
1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g – 15 g yarn (leftovers) + bits of leftover yarn for decorating; here: set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “knotting in hair”; yarn needle for weaving in ends, possibly sewing needle and buttons,
tape measure, scissors.
Recommendation: embroider the eyes in black if the egg cozies are used for babies/toddlers as amigurumi .

These two crocheted Easter bunny egg cozies make a cute decoration for the breakfast table during Easter—even without eggs underneath! All you need to crochet this pair is a few leftover pieces of colorful yarn. I recommend cotton yarn, such as Catania by Schachenmayr, and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll also need some craft batting to stuff the head and some embroidery thread.

To give the sheep a better fleece look, I crochet with bobbles. I explain this technique at the beginning of the pattern and illustrate it with pictures. Difficulty level: medium; you should already have some crochet experience ;-) and shouldn’t choose these sheep as your very first crochet project. Here I have a beautiful crochet pattern for making a table runner with a gorgeous floral pattern. Perfect as decoration for the Sunday and/or holiday breakfast table.

It would certainly look great in other colors, too. The attachment does include a “little crochet school,” but I don’t think this pattern is necessarily suitable for beginners.
