Funny egg cozies for Easter breakfast:
Knitting pattern Egg Cozy BIGGI - quick and easy

They are quick and easy to knit in one evening in front of the TV.

Basic knitting skills are enough.
We knit in rounds with a set of double-pointed needles. Embellishments can be added as desired and according to your own creativity.

Materials:
Basically, you can use any yarn with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the label.
1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g – 15 g yarn (leftovers) + bits of leftover yarn for decorating; here: set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “knotting in hair”; yarn needle for weaving in ends, possibly sewing needle and buttons,
tape measure, scissors.
Recommendation: embroider the eyes in black if the egg cozies are used for babies/toddlers as amigurumi .

  • Step-by-step illustrated pattern, designed for yarns with approx. 85 m yardage per 50 g

These two crocheted Easter bunny egg cozies make a cute decoration for the breakfast table during Easter—even without eggs underneath! All you need to crochet this pair is a few leftover pieces of colorful yarn. I recommend cotton yarn, such as Catania by Schachenmayr, and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll also need some craft batting to stuff the head and some embroidery thread.

When a large family gathers around the breakfast table and everyone has a little rose-shaped egg cup in front of them, the set table looks just like a flower bed. But even for smaller families, these egg cups create a festive atmosphere. Whether you make them in pastel shades or bold colors, whether they’re all different colors or monochromatic and coordinated with the rest of the decor—they can always be designed to suit the occasion and always look lovely.

The egg cups are also very easy for beginners to make—the detailed craft instructions explain exactly how to do it.

This little pot of daffodils makes a pretty little Easter or spring decoration.
It’s super quick to crochet and well-suited even for beginners with basic skills.

You’ll receive a detailed, 8-page, richly illustrated pattern for a decorative pot measuring approximately 15 cm.

Required skills:
This pattern does not include a beginner’s tutorial. You should already know how to crochet single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet, as well as chain stitches and slip stitches.

You’ll also need:
  • Cotton yarn, crochet hook size 2.5–3
  • (50 g/125 m). In this case, I used “Catania” by Schachenmayer in the colors sun, natural, and apple
  • (1 ball of each)
  • 3 chenille wires, 30 cm long; 1 clay pot, Ø 9 cm
  • Crochet hook size 2.5
  • Darning needle, hot glue, some cardboard, decorative granules

Sheep Egg Cozy Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 15g of yarn (it’s best to use 100% cotton craft yarn, as this makes the egg cozies nice and sturdy. Of course, you can also use any other yarn) in white or brown, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. Leftover yarn in green.
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • Some stuffing for the head
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Googly eyes and superglue
To give the sheep a better fleece look, I crochet with bobbles. I explain this technique at the beginning of the pattern and illustrate it with pictures. That way, you’ll understand it very quickly ;-). All the remaining steps are also illustrated and explained with plenty of pictures. Difficulty level: medium; you should already have some crochet experience ;-) and shouldn’t choose these sheep as your very first crochet project. These sheep egg cozies are a super cute eye-catcher on any breakfast table! They’re also ideal as a gift ;-) !!! If you have any questions, just send me a message! I’ll reply as quickly as possible. Have fun making them! I’d be very happy to see photos and receive a review of the pattern ;-)

For everyone who doesn’t like real eggs but still doesn’t want to miss out. Simply crochet cheerful, colorful versions from Catania cotton yarn. With different color choices, the eggs look different every time—bright and colorful or subtle, just as you like.
Perfect for using up even small leftovers.

  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
What is crocheted
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet stitches
  • Double crochet stitches

Actually, yes, a different religion...
... but being open-minded is truly the highest good ;-)

And this motto fits very well here too:
"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future. Concentrate on the present moment." - QUOTE Buddha

And in this spirit—enjoy the time with your loved ones around a beautifully decorated table!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarity, the pattern includes 3 charts of the motifs, 1 crochet chart, as well as
a illustrated step-by-step explanation for the color change.

The finished table runner measures approximately 158 x 45 cm. However, the specified gauge and the crochet area between the motifs allow room for individual lengths.

And here is the pattern and more details...
