Your Favorite Materials

Hey,
I’d love to know if you have any favorite materials. Like special yarn, needles, fabrics, or whatever else...

I think it’s super interesting to read about what other people use.

That gives me the idea that I’d love to have something like a materials guide here. So, a page that tells you a bit about the materials you can use. 

What they’re suitable for or not, where you can get them, how they’re made, and things like that!

Hi... yeah, I do have favorite yarns. For example, “Jorney” by Schachenmayr. Or “Playa Mondial.” And various yarns from on-line. I’ve also put together a summary (see my signature under “More from berli-design”). But you’re always discovering new, great yarns.

I really like that velour fabric—it’s so nice and soft to the touch for sweaters and things like that. Almost like velvet, but somehow still quite different.
