Lada is a Slavic goddess, the patroness of marriage and love; she was also known as the “Swan Goddess.” Ancient myths and legends inspired me to create this shawl; with the merino lace yarn worked into it, the shawl is as soft as down, and its pointed edge mimics the wings of a swan. The pattern is very detailed (7 pages + pictures); the rows are described both in written form and with a crochet chart. To crochet the “LADA” shawl, you’ll need:
  • a size 3–3.5 crochet hook
  • a Scheepjes Whirl yarn cake, 215g = 1000m (100g = 455m) — I chose the color “Slice O Cherry Pie” and used mohair lace yarn held together with it, making the shawl absolutely cozy and suitable for winter.
  • scissors
To crochet the “LADA” shawl, you’ll need to know the following stitches: single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), and crossed double crochet (X dc)

The “SVAROG” shawl stands out with its clean, classic lines. Thanks to its timeless, balanced pattern, it is also very well suited for men. The 6-page pattern is written in great detail; a diagram of the shawl and the knitting chart help you complete your project. For my shawl, I used Scheepjes Whirl (Jumpin’ Jaffa Pop), but of course you can also use a skein of your choice or any other yarn. Required skills:
  • knit stitch
  • purl stitch
  • increase
  • decrease
The shawl is the perfect size to wear as a stole with a shawl pin.Click here to go directly to the pattern

This elegant shawl is guaranteed to turn heads! The gold Lurex thread used as a carry-along yarn gives your shawl a touch of luxury, and the beautifully shaped pattern is perfectly matched to the shawl’s design. You can never go wrong with this shoulder warmer!
Draped over a beautiful dress, it’s always an eye-catcher and very elegant!
The fringe adds that special something!

The pattern gives this stole a convincing elegance—yet, with the right combination, it can just as easily be worn casually.

A detailed description (row by row) guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, a crochet chart can also be found in the pattern.
The pattern also includes a pictured step-by-step explanation for creating the fringe.

The measurements are approximately: length: approx. 145 cm (without fringe), width: approx. 55 cm
Gauge is included as always—for any adjustments!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

A triangular shawl with a patchwork pattern is something special!

See the triangular shawl pattern

The pattern for this shawl is explained step by step with
pictures and is very easy to follow.

You’ll need 200–300 grams of yarn, preferably with a long color gradient,
depending on the size you choose.

The basic knitting pattern consists only of knit stitches!

This way to the pattern

With 300 g of 3-ply gradient yarn (50% cotton / 50% polyacrylic) and a size 2.5–3 crochet hook, you can crochet the asymmetrical triangular shawl Gara in your favorite colors.

Its special shape is sure to attract attention and accentuate your outfit—either subtly, thanks to gently blending colors like here (cream, light gray, and pea by Traumgarne as a custom gradient), or in a more eye-catching version with bolder color combinations.

I wish you lots of fun crocheting.

A triangular shawl with a bit of a twist is this shawl with a jagged edge. What makes it special is that it is knitted from the bottom point upward. Apart from that, though, it is a very easy shawl to knit, looks especially good in sock yarns, but can basically be knitted in any yarn you like. The size is also up to you. When you don’t want to continue or the yarn runs out, you simply stop.

You can find the pattern here.

A stole in a brioche pattern is wonderfully soft - the “double” stitches make sure of that. The knitted fabric drapes beautifully and is simply cozy. I like brioche patterns :-) It’s also relaxing to knit. If you’ve never tried it before, the pattern includes a photo tutorial.

You can find out more about it here.

A beautiful triangular shawl is my shawl "Abschlußball"

This crocheted shawl is started at the tip, and you can keep crocheting until the yarn runs out.

I recommend a yarn with at least 600 m of yardage to achieve a nice size. I have already crocheted the shawl using Tahiti yarn from Schachenmayr, but also with a winter yarn.

In the pattern, the design is explained both as a crochet chart and in writing.

Here you can find the pattern

Or would you prefer a knitted stole made from a very cozy yarn?

I knitted my shawl from a soft, lightweight yarn containing 50% alpaca (e.g. Schachenmayr “Highland Alpaca Fino”, 50% alpaca, 50% virgin wool, with a yardage of 250 m / 50 g). I used 200 g, and my shawl ended up measuring 43 x 165 cm.

I have created an Excel spreadsheet for the pattern, and the pattern is also explained in writing, row by row.

The Chloé shawl is beautifully voluminous and cozy.
The simple pattern repeats make it easy even for beginners to crochet this shawl.

Made with a total of 450 g of Yarn and Color Charming, the shawl measures approximately 173 x 73 cm.

However, the pattern also works with any other yarn and a matching hook size :-)

Crochet pattern: triangular shawl for any yarn you like

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

For this triangular shawl for all seasons, you can basically use any yarn you like – the thinner, the more elegant. Size: any size.

For the size made here, approx. 70 cm x 162 cm, I used 350 g Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50 g – 120 m, needle size according to the ball band 3 – 4, here crochet hook 4.0. I would not recommend thicker yarn for visual reasons. I decided not to block the shawl, as the curves of the shell pattern stand out better that way – but that is a matter of taste.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet (explained).

The PDF pattern is illustrated over 15 pages, but it is not a crochet course. A link/video tip for a crochet course and more is included.

The PDF includes

  • in the first part, detailed instructions with corresponding illustrations,
  • in the second part, a shorter version, also illustrated, and
  • last but not least, a scarf/shawl variation in short form.
No crochet chart - no gauge required

Häkelanleitungen für tolle Schultertücher

Lace patterns, fringes, and beautiful colors give every handmade piece something light and airy. At the same time, these patterns in shawls not only look elegant, but also spice up any outfit and are a must-have for spring and summer.

The ways to wear different shawls are endless. Here I’ll show you the patterns for three different designs

The Enya Shawl stands out with its simple elegance. Here, the well-known half-granny pattern is interrupted by the elegant lace pattern

For it, you only need a 4-ply yarn cake with 1000 m yardage (about 200 g) and a 3.5 mm crochet hook

The Snowdrop Shawl is a really wonderful beginner shawl, because the flower-like lace pattern is very easy to make.

You only need a yarn cake with 1000 m yardage (preferably one in soft colors) and your size 3.5 mm crochet hook.

The Sunset Shawl enchants with its gorgeous color gradient, reminiscent of the sunset over the Flensburg Fjord. This shawl is also well suited for beginners.

You only need a yarn cake with 800–1000 m yardage and, again, your size 3.5 mm crochet hook

I’m always happy to help if you have any questions

With this pattern, even beginners can knit a striped triangle shawl with a gorgeous color gradient

Click here to go straight to the pattern! You’ll also get a sneak peek at the pattern there!

This shawl is truly a real delight to wear around your neck. The yarn quality is a dream... It’s very easy to knit, but thanks to the special yarn, it looks absolutely stunning, doesn’t it? Stripes of a solid-colored yarn alternate with a yarn featuring a gorgeous, long color gradient.

I love this color combination—it reminds me of long walks along the gorgeous North Sea beach...

But there are also lots of other color combinations and looks you can try! Both yarns are available in many other colors and color gradients, so you can put together your own perfect combination.

Have fun knitting!

Bobbel-LIenchen is a triangular shawl that requires a Bobbel with a yardage of only 750 m. It is crocheted sideways and is also a lovely project for advanced beginners.

The pattern includes both a table section, in which all stitches are noted in detail, and a crochet chart for the three most important parts (start of the shawl, pattern change, shawl tip).

A crocheted lace shawl in a triangular shape is “Feathery,” a feather-light shawl when crocheted with lace yarn. However, you can also use other yarns. You can crochet the shawl in any size you like. When you run out of yarn or feel that it’s enough, you simply stop. The crochet pattern is shown in a crochet chart, but is also written out row by row.

You can find the pattern here.

We need them in every season and every quality...
... triangle shawls!
Hardly any accessory jazzes up a supposedly boring outfit as much as our shawls.

The pattern used looks complex, but is so easy to make,
that even beginners will enjoy it.

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
Row by row and stitch by stitch are explained.
For clarity, 1 chart in crochet chart form can be found in the pattern.

The size of the shawl is about 180 x 100 cm.
However, it can be made smaller or larger as needed—with little effort.
The specified gauge helps with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...
