I’d like to take some photos of my latest project. I hope the weather cooperates so I can take pictures outside. Unfortunately, the photos won’t turn out well indoors.
Then I’d like to finish a loop scarf and a door wreath for spring.
On Sunday, we’re planning to go skiing with friends.
Oh, and in between, I’ve got some housework to do. I should go grocery shopping, too. But I’ll do all that tomorrow—today I’m writing a fairy tale with my oldest. Well, he’s writing it himself for school, and then I get to read it and correct the spelling mistakes. Since his imagination knows no bounds, it’s sure to be a great story.
I wish everyone a wonderful weekend and lots of relaxation while doing your crafts!
Tonight we’re heading to a steakhouse for a delicious meal.
Tomorrow I’ll be cleaning up the yard after the storm—a bag of Styrofoam packaging got blown over to our place and scattered all over the yard; it looks like it snowed. To wrap up the day, I’m heading to a Greek restaurant, and on Sunday I’ll be visiting my in-laws as usual (yes, I know—a lot of food)
Other than that, I’ll be taking care of my sick cat and taking it easy.
Yesterday I was out on another hospital tour, so I was pretty worn out by the evening. Now I’m hoping for a cozy weekend of crafts. Maybe I’ll even find the time to take a few photos and write up a pattern...
I’m out shopping with my husband. (My husband loves shopping.) Right now he’s in a store without an elevator. So I’m standing downstairs with the stroller, hoping he doesn’t find too much to buy.
That’s funny, Arni. It seems like it’s the other way around for you. ;-) Usually, it’s always the men who have to wait. Luckily, I have a very patient one ... which makes me happy. :-)
I’m treating myself to a weekend full of knitting and crocheting. I’ll be trying out new ideas and using up some yarn. I’m on a yarn diet until April, which I’m enjoying more and more.
That should add up to quite a few little gifts for Valentine’s Day and Easter.
To everyone who isn’t feeling well, I wish you a speedy recovery. And to all of you, have a wonderful weekend with plenty of time for knitting and crocheting.
Today, things were the other way around. :-))))
A little while ago, my husband baked a cake and I watched soccer.
:-))) We’re having his friends over, and he really wants to serve cake, so he gets to bake it himself.
Well, he can bake a cake. And he’s good at that. :-)))
But he’s even better at cooking. We met when he was in his mid-30s and had been living on his own for a long time, so he had to cook, clean,
and so on by himself. And luckily, he hasn’t forgotten how to do that.
