If you don’t have much time this weekend but still want to crochet something small, maybe you can get in the mood for Carnival a little early with this funny clown. You can crochet this finger puppet super fast. You don’t even need to buy yarn—you’re sure to have some colorful leftover yarn lying around at home. It’s so simple that even beginners can give it a try.
Once it’s finished, it fits in any pants pocket and can be taken anywhere to make long car rides go by faster, to pass the time while waiting, or to distract from a shot at the doctor’s office.
Get started right away. The pattern is here!

The HAPPY FLOWERS flower sticks are a great weekend project. Not only are they quick to crochet, but they’re also a wonderful way to use up your leftover yarn. Especially now in this grey season, they’ll bring a splash of color to your windowsill.

The pattern is easy enough for beginners to follow. It includes plenty of pictures and detailed explanations of each step.

This fun Easter decoration is a quick and easy weekend project. The little chubby bunny is searching for the eggs he has already painted in bright colors in the flowerpot, even though they’re right there.

The finished decoration is about 22 cm tall. Very well suited for beginners.
You’ll receive a detailed 13-page pattern with plenty of photos to follow along with. The PDF includes the pattern for the bunny, the crocus, the bow, and the Easter eggs.

Required skills:
The pattern does not include a beginner’s tutorial. You should already be familiar with single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, as well as chain stitches and slip stitches.

You’ll also need:
  • Crochet with yarn, hook size 4.5–5.5, 50 g/90 m. In this case, I used “Finja” by Wollbutt in the colors gray-blue and cream, 1 skein of each
  • For all other parts, cotton yarn for hook size 2.5–3 (50 g/125 m). In this case, I used “Catania” by Schachenmayer in the colors reseda, coffee, natural, dahlia, yellow, and apple
  • Plus, leftover yarn in various colors for the Easter eggs. (A great way to use up leftover yarn)
  • Crochet hooks sizes 3 and 4.5, clay pot Ø 17 cm, 1 piece of chenille wire
  • Darning needle, stuffing, hot glue, 4.5 cm pom-pom maker

A soul warmer like this simply has to hang in every woman’s wardrobe in lots of colors and shapes!

This zigzag pattern is simply fun and looks fantastic on top of that.
The edging is worked with a relief pattern, which is simple yet very effective.

The cut of the soul warmer is made entirely without decreases or increases...
... making it absolutely recommended for beginners too!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
To make things clear, 3 crochet charts are included in the pattern.
In addition, 3 schematics help you through the crochet process step by step.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains how the shrug can be very easily adapted to any size.
The included cut and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

even beginners will enjoy this pattern!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
For clarification, the pattern includes 1 crochet chart.
In addition, a template with an integrated schematic helps you through the crochet process.

Looking for a small project for in between?
These fingerless mitts are perfect for that!

The simple yet sophisticated cable pattern is fun, and the result is simply delightful.
And anyone who likes can get creative and jazz them up with rhinestones!

A detailed description guides you step by step through the knitting process.
It also includes a chart in knitting chart form to help with the pattern repeat.

Also a lovely project for beginners who want to expand their skills!

The length of the finished mitts is about 20 cm.
Of course, as always, the gauge is included.

Perfect, too, if you want to shrink your scrap-yarn stash!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Did you sleep well? Good! Then you can take on a new knitting project now. You often never know exactly what the weekend will bring—will relatives drop by, or will the kids want to do something? I suggest making the project something relaxing that you can set aside at any time. An infinity scarf, for example. You really don’t have to think much for that.
What you need for it is sock yarn in two colors and a 4 mm circular knitting needle. The infinity scarf is knitted as a long tube in rounds, making it a wonderfully cozy neck warmer that can also be used on both sides.

You can find the pattern here.

This scarf is also wonderful to knit on the side. What makes it special is that it is knitted diagonally, which also shows off colorful gradient yarns beautifully. A simple lace border gives it that certain something.

You can find the pattern here.

Since Valentine’s Day isn’t far off either, you can already start preparing for that too. For example, with a little knitted heart pouch in which you can wrap small things. For this, you’ll need leftover sock yarn. If one of those could be red, that would suit me just fine :-)

You can find the pattern here.
