Where do you get your inspiration for your spring decorations?

Dear users and authors,
where do you find inspiration for your spring decorations or for patterns featuring spring decoration ideas? Let me know.

I take a look at what kinds of yarn and colors I have on hand and set them aside first. Decorations can also be made easily from leftovers.

Often, an idea will come to me right away about what I can make with the yarn.

I also like to look for inspiration. Sometimes I get these sudden flashes of inspiration about what might look good or what would be useful right now. That’s how my door hangings came about, too. For me, decorations should also be useful in some way or serve an additional purpose.

Since I’m currently trying to use up a lot of my stash, I’m also on the lookout for things I could knit or crochet, for example. That’s sometimes really fun. My husband already recognizes that “creative look” of mine. :-)

What I’m currently working on has been on my mind since last summer. But I always thought to myself: it’s too early for spring stuff right now.

Otherwise, I have to say that ideas tend to come to me. Like, “You could make that,” or “Why don’t you try making something like that?” And just like that, the next designs start taking shape in my head.

So far, I’ve always just bought my decorations because I didn’t know how to make them myself. Now I’m learning to crochet and started with a pot holder. But once I get the hang of it, I’d like to try something a little more challenging.
When I got married last year, I got my table decorations from ***Link*** because they offered complete themed packages, including matching place cards. It was really great.
