Bobbel

Hi everyone! I’m already planning my next beginner’s crochet project. It’s going to be another simple poncho. I’d like to try using a gradient yarn cake for this one. One skein definitely won’t be enough. But how do you handle that? The color gradient would start over from the beginning again. Thanks so much for your answers

if you have the gradient yarn cake wound for you, you can specify when ordering how you’d like the color gradient to be wound. Or you can order a larger cake right away.

It also looks nice if you work one cake from the inside out and then the next from the outside in. You just need to use up both cakes completely so the color gradient turns out nicely.

You can also get lace yarn from most Bobbel sellers, for example in the final color. That way, you can extend the yardage, so to speak. But surely the pattern gives the required yardage? Then I’d get a suitable Bobbel as well. Have fun!
