Dear users, dear authors,
how do you imagine the future? What will life be like in the year 3000? As soon as the technical possibilities for it are fully developed on Crazypatterns, we’ll all take a time trip.
If that seems too far ahead for you, then you can also travel to spring, summer, fall, or winter 2018, if you like. That’s not quite so far away. With our authors’ patterns, 2018 will be colorful and pleasant.
Shop now and work toward a wonderful future.

@Autoren,
2-3 patterns per author are enough.
Don’t forget the link and image, as well as the usual information.

The year 3000 is so far away; by then, life will probably have changed even more than it has in the last 1,000 years. Technological progress is galloping ahead, and in the year 3000 people won’t know what to make of sayings like "Beam me up, Scotty," because they’ll have found other means of transportation. Maybe other planets will even be settled by then?
Whatever the case, you never really know what it looks like on such a distant planet. It certainly can’t hurt to take along an infinity scarf just in case—one you might even be able to pull up over your mouth and nose there. Who knows what the atmospheric conditions are like! You’ll just have to knit it beforehand, but you’ll surely be done by then. And if you change your mind after all and want nothing to do with that distant planet, you can still wear it at home on Earth.

Here’s the pattern.

What will certainly be the case in the year 3000 is that people won’t have to work as much anymore. Technological progress and artificial intelligence will make many activities unnecessary. Whether that is a blessing or a curse, we’ll leave that open for now; the future will tell.
That opens up room for different thought experiments. In one model, people will fight over the work that still exists and possibly even wage wars. You could certainly imagine them doing that.
My other model looks like this: people will learn and become wiser, and therefore stop bashing each other’s heads in and use their wealth of time more sensibly. I’m optimistic and expect this model to happen.
When you have a lot of time, you can devote yourself to the beautiful things in life. For example, you can celebrate parties and dress up for them. For that, I suggest a knitted bracelet :-)

Here’s the pattern.

P.S.: That was a lot of blah-blah for such a little bracelet, wasn’t it?

Even today, a steam locomotive like this is pure nostalgia; by the year 3000, people probably won’t know them at all anymore!

So crochet one quickly to preserve it for posterity!

The individual parts of the locomotive are very easy to crochet. You only need a little time for sewing them together. The locomotive is an ideal toy for very little boys who want to play with trains even as babies. If you use saliva-safe yarn, it can safely be explored with the mouth. It is soft and cuddly, you can’t get hurt on it, it won’t scratch anything, and it doesn’t break easily either. And when it gets dirty, it simply goes into the washing machine!

This toy will bring your children and  grandchildren so much fun that they will still be raving about it to their children and grandchildren, and in the year 3000...
So let’s go! Get the pattern right here and get to work!

Since it will probably be veeeeery cold in the year 3000, we'll need
lots of cowls and scarves and shawls—everything that keeps you warm, for example
this beautiful model

to the pattern for the diagonally knitted cowl

The pattern is very simple, easy to make even for knitting beginners,

you'll need 150 g of yarn and size 3 knitting needles

only knit and purl stitches are used.

or a lovely, cozy shawl, like this model

to the pattern for a triangular shawl with a lace pattern

The knitting pattern is perfect to recreate thanks to the very simply explained pattern,
so it's also a lot of fun.

Hello everyone,
the year 3000 is too far away for me. My "time travel" is taking me this year, 2018, to new shop premises. And as it is when traveling, it's good to have a bag that can take a lot, like this one here made from packing twine:

Crochet pattern for an easy eco mesh bag Bernau #2

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

If you like, you can also line the bag.

  • With bag handle
  • also as a (drawstring) pouch/shoulder bag – as a shopper
  • or even carried on your back – “piggyback” – as a little backpack.
  • Any yarn you like is possible with the matching hook size; used here: 250 g packing twine
    (100% hemp), 200 g – 160 m yardage, and 6.0 mm crochet hook;
2 stitch markers recommended, cord stoppers if needed.
  • Any desired size possible
  • Also suitable for using up leftover yarn (color changes are explained)
  • Easy to crochet – basic crochet skills are enough

Included in the download :

  • PDF crochet pattern for the bag, cord, and crocheted heart – with pictures and bag pattern also in a short version
  • PDF Crochet Basics – basic crochet techniques – with pictures

The year 3000 is still too far off for me—but when it comes to mysticism, the future is fair game. My Mystic Arctica is both warm and decorative, perfect for whatever the future holds.
Click here to go directly to it: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/35602/mystic-arctica-gestrickter-schal

It can be worn as a stole, scarf, or even a hooded shawl.
You’ll need about 300 g of Mystic Glimmer (400 m per 100 g). However, the size can easily be adjusted to your preferences.

With the shawl "Dream about Summer" you can take an inner time trip to summer.
During the cold days, you can wrap yourself up nicely in it; in spring and summer it's a great accessory! :-)

This is a shawl with a pattern repeat that keeps repeating, so it can be crocheted with any yarn you like and in any size you like.

The pattern includes step-by-step instructions with lots of pictures as well as a crochet chart, so everyone can choose which instructions they prefer to work from.

All you should know how to do are chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet.

Click here for the pattern! :)

I hope you have lots of fun making it.
