Your Weekend Plans

Dear users and authors,
what are you doing this weekend?
I hope you get some rest and have fun with your crafts.

I’ll be studying for the English test with my eldest. My parents want to come over too, so we’ll have coffee and a chat on Sunday afternoon.

Other than that, nothing’s planned. I hope the sun comes out. I should take some nice photos, and then we want to go for a walk with the dog.

I have to rip out the new loop scarf I’m making for my cousin’s birthday. Unfortunately, the needle is too thin for the yarn, but you don’t really notice it until after 10 rows. And while I’m at it, I’ll add a thin strand as well, because the yarn is a bit garish, and a light blue might calm the design down a little.

I have to file my taxes ... 2016 will be totally easy, but it still freaks me out.  
Nothing too demanding is planned with the kids, so I'll also have time for some crafting.  I absolutely have to start the crochet shawl for my friend, but I also want to keep knitting or finish my zigzag shawl. I hope I can divide my free time well.

It looks like it’ll be another trip to the hospital. Hopefully the last one—my mom is supposed to come home next week. Care has been arranged; we’ll see how it goes.

I can finally breathe a sigh of relief: my reports are all written and submitted, so now I can devote myself to knitting with a clear conscience. Although I did decide at lunchtime today to unravel the scarf I’d started for my husband, since it seems a bit too narrow to me… so several hours of work down the drain! I guess I won’t be able to finish it in time for his birthday in a week! (The gift was planned for last year anyway!)

No big plans.

Just doing a little housework and continuing to work on my next project.
