2018 Trends

Dear users, dear authors,
brace yourselves. After leggings and yoga pants, cycling shorts are also set to make a comeback. It’s going to be wonderful—or something like that. :-)
Off-the-shoulder styles and cutouts at the shoulders probably won’t be as big a thing anymore, I’ve heard. Instead, cutouts are now at the waist, and for the shoulders, there are one-shoulder pieces = asymmetrical looks.
The boho trend is apparently toning down a bit, and there will only be boho elements—no more full boho looks. Instead, cowboy boots are in now. A few fringes here and there certainly won’t hurt, though. Bomber jackets are giving way to blazers.
Pantone continues to claim that “Ultra Violet” is now more popular than “Millennial Pink,” but you can keep the color red.

Always in:
handbags. Round handbags are apparently back in style.

You know how it goes. Trend scouts always make big claims, but they might not always be right. If you fill 75% of your wardrobe with durable, high-quality basics and top off the remaining 25% with a few trends, you’ll be close enough to the pulse of trends without becoming a fashion victim. You don’t have to follow every trend, after all. As long as you’re happy and satisfied with your clothes, that’s what matters.
