Who got something great for crafts from the Christ Child? :-)

Hi everyone :)

So, how was your Christmas Eve?
I had a nice evening with delicious food and my family.
We didn’t exchange many gifts.
But my stepsister gave me this:




I was really happy to get this, even though I have no idea what some of these things are for ;-)

I wish everyone two more wonderful days of Christmas

Now that’s what I call a useful gift :-) Which ones are you having trouble figuring out?
By the way, the Christ Child brought me a whole lot of yarn :-)

The Christ Child (my neighbor) brought me a cuddly donkey to knit myself. It looks totally cute on the package, but my fingers are breaking just thinking about using a set of double-pointed needles *sob*
I think I’ll end up crocheting it after all.

My husband gave me a gift card for a new armchair for my crocheting corner.
I was so, so happy about that.

Since I also love to sew, I got a fabric star set with 5 pieces of fabric, each 50 x 50 cm, from Santa (my mom)! I was so happy! :)

My mom has discovered bubble yarn. For Christmas, I gave her a book with great patterns specifically for this fun yarn!!! She’s currently crocheting a shower sponge :)
I myself got lots of yarn and a gift card to the craft store! I was so happy!!!

Oh, your gifts sound wonderful :)

I don’t recognize any of the things I’ve circled in pink.
I know, it’s quite a lot ;) 

The little pink caps are needle stoppers/protectors for knitting needles,
the needles with the curve (plastic) are cable needles for knitting
the large safety pins are also used in knitting as stitch holders (for example, when you put stitches on hold)
I don’t know what the other two items are either (but I’m sure they have a use in knitting too)

Is the golden ring a spiral? (I can’t really tell.) If so, it’s meant for when you’re working with two colors. You thread the two strands through the eyelets and slip the spiral onto your finger. (Personally, though, I don’t get along with it very well and find it rather impractical.) I don’t recognize the item next to the measuring tape either.

Haha... at first I thought those pink little bags were earplugs... which wouldn’t be a bad idea, since my husband always comes running up to tell me something right when I’m counting. He can sit peacefully in front of his photos for hours, but then, just when I’m counting...
