Knitting this loop is pure relaxation!

Find the pattern here: Click!

These two snowman pot holders are very easy to crochet, since they’re essentially made up of circles that you can crochet at a leisurely pace without having to follow a pattern. The hat, scarf, nose, and eyes are also crocheted in no time—even beginners can do it.
The pot holders are crocheted in double layers and then sewn together, leaving an opening at the bottom so you can slip them on.
You’ll need 120g of white cotton yarn (130m/50g) and scraps in light blue, pink, black, and orange, as well as a 3.0 mm crochet hook.

Wonderfully relaxing:

Knitted multifunctional loop, bolero, kidney warmer, shoulder warmer, hat-scarf

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This versatile loop (worn twice around the neck) is knitted in the round from 6-ply sock yarn, using the same yarn as the “year-round beanie.”

The PDF pattern is illustrated, but it is not a basic knitting course. General knitting skills are required.

Materials used:
150 g 6-ply sock yarn, here Austermann Sockenwolle Step 6 (= 6-ply) with aloe vera and jojoba oil, (75% virgin wool, 25% acrylic, 150 g = 375 m yardage, knitting needle size 3 - 4 according to the ball band;
gauge according to the ball band: 23 sts x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm); stitch marker, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends. Used here: 6.0 circular knitting needle (cable length at least 80 cm, more comfortable: 100 cm).

By the way: for sizes L-XL, the “bolero” fits in such a way that it can also be called a “kidney warmer.” For smaller clothing sizes, this area hangs fashionably loose.
The hat-scarf does not completely cover the back of the head; this lets long hair show to fashionable advantage.

Once the Möbius cast-on is done, the rest is absolutely relaxing:

VALUE SET: Knit MÖBIUS scarves/loops

((To purchase/download, please click the image)

The value set includes:

  • PDF knitting pattern: 3 cast-on techniques /
    knitting pattern for 2 models
; the pattern is richly illustrated
  • Excel spreadsheet with calculated formulas
  • PDF explanation of the Möbius principle
Learn, try out, and choose your favorite method for the basic principle and three cast-on techniques for knitting Möbius scarves/loops :-)

Model 1 – Colorful - is a Möbius loop/scarf with a circumference of approx. 90 cm and a height of approx. 20 cm, which can be worn beautifully in different variations as a shoulder warmer and neck warmer. For this we only need 1 skein of Woolly Hugs Bandy, here in color no. 7.

Model II – Möbius collar in milk white nestles wonderfully around the neck like a turtleneck, but can also be worn as a headband. This model makes a wonderful gift and is knitted in just a few hours. For this we only need 1 skein of merino yarn, 50 g – 85 m, e.g. Merino 85 by Austermann or Schachenmayr.

Both models are made in a simple Reversi rib pattern (= a pattern that looks the same on both the inside and outside).

Also included is the Excel spreadsheet for calculating your own desired measurements for a knitted or crocheted Möbius scarf and the corresponding number of cast-on stitches according to your individual gauge.

Technical note: this requires the Excel spreadsheet program or another spreadsheet program available as a free download online, such as LibreOffice. (Note: a line saying "Protected View" will appear at the top; please click "Enable Editing," then the input fields can be filled in.)

These knitting skills are required: casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting in the round, knit stitches together, purl stitches together, yarn over, bind off. A basic knitting course is not included, but link tips are.

Both patterns are also available individually.

Super relaxing—a quick project to take along:

Crochet Hat for Everyone—Very Easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat for different styles, meaning ONE hat model wearable in all the pictured variations, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).

  • no gauge swatch (it doesn’t depend on the exact cm),
  • no increases or decreases,
  • for any yarn you like
  • possible in all sizes.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

You need these crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet.
Everything else and slip stitches are explained. Video link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

By the way: A crochet pattern for an infinity scarf to match this hat is also available here in my shop: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Material
: for the pictured model with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
The ribbed pattern requires approx. 50 g more yarn than is usually needed for hats. The crochet hook size should match the yarn used.

Dishcloth washable at 60°C - crochet pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick to crochet with the popular scrubby yarn (washable at 60°C in the dishwasher or washing machine).

Included in the download :
  • PDF crochet pattern for a scrubby ball with an embroidered face (diameter approx. 7 cm)
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dishcloth (dimensions: approx. 20 cm x 20 cm)
Both patterns include a short version and a detailed, illustrated pattern, plus crochet basics with all stitches used.Addition to the pattern for the dishcloth: if you would like to crochet a hanger onto the cloth, you can crochet the hanger according to the scrubby ball pattern.

Materials for 1 dishcloth + 1 scrubby ball:
approx. 50 g Rico Creative Bubble, 100% polyester, color 007 light blue + 50 g (or leftover yarn) color 012 black, 50 g – 100 m, washable at 60 °C in the dishwasher, 4.0 mm crochet hook; scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends. NOTE: In this yarn, black is only suitable for embroidering or for borders. It is very difficult to crochet with because the stitches cannot be seen!

If the dishcloth is used as a potholder, please use 100% cotton yarn (potholder yarn) because of its heat resistance.
For beginners, I recommend using cotton yarn that is twisted as firmly as possible.

Relaxation is the top priority when it comes to handmade crafts!
On top of that, fun and a great result—what more could you want?

This wonderfully warm cowl meets all these criteria!

The lovely raised texture pattern adds stability and a woven structure.

Once you’ve crocheted the pattern repeat once, you’ll get the hang of it—
even beginners will enjoy this pattern!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
For clarification, the pattern includes 1 crochet chart.
In addition, a template with an integrated diagram helps you through the crochet process.

When unrolled, the scarf has a size of about 27 x 96 cm.
However, it can easily be made smaller or larger as needed.
The included template and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...
