Bobbel gradient yarns are also wonderfully suited for this shawl:

Crochet Pattern: Triangular Shawl FARBENSPIEL

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Also ideal for beginners
Cheerfully colorful – in your desired colors (also great for using up leftovers, if desired), this triangular shawl can be crocheted quickly in just a few evenings – very relaxing.. and a wonderful gift for all kinds of occasions.

These crochet skills are enough:
chain stitches, single crochet, and slip stitches (all explained with pictures)

Material:
Basically, you can use any yarn you like with the appropriate hook size; wonderfully suited especially for thin yarns, lace yarns / gradient yarns (e.g., Bobbel).

For the size crocheted here, I used: approx. 350 g of Limone/Catania cotton yarn in total, 100% cotton, 50 g – 125 m, any color choice, here 8 colors (partly using up leftovers); according to the label for hook size 2.5 – 3.5; used here: 3.5 mm crochet hook. You will also need: yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. A stitch marker is helpful for beginners, pins for blocking.
