today I still have cello lessons with my little one, and then tonight I’m going to
an acquaintance’s birthday party.
Tomorrow I’ll be cleaning and decorating the apartment, and of course doing laundry
.
On Sunday morning, we’re going to church—it’s the memorial anniversary of my best friend’s passing.
After that, we’re invited over to her husband and daughter’s place. It’s going to be a ****** day.
At noon, I still have to study math with my older daughter. I won’t get much crocheting done this weekend. My list just keeps growing
and growing.
Sorting through papers and hoping I can finish my Secret Santa gift really quickly.
It was supposed to be mailed today—though I now think that’s becoming less and less likely.
I have the big parent-teacher conference at school today. I’m really excited—I haven’t met any of his teachers yet. It’s his first year, and I’d like to know who’s teaching him. I already know them all from what he’s told me, but I want to get a sense of them for myself.
Tomorrow we’re celebrating my sister’s birthday, and then we’re all going together to the little Christmas market in our town. It’s always so nice—just handmade items from the local farms and small community groups. My son has already told me he wants a really cool hat there.
And I’m going to treat myself to a thing or two as well.
On Sunday, we’re going ice skating—it’s almost become a regular weekly event for us. So, until ski season starts.
We should also study math. But the test isn’t until the week after next, so we’re taking it easy.
I haven’t had any time for crocheting at all lately because I’m making a scarf for my dad. I just realized that I don’t have enough yarn. But since I’m making it from the leftover yarn from his vest—and the yarn was wound up ages ago (I think it’s been 5 years already)—I’ll figure something out so it’ll still be long enough.
Wishing everyone here a peaceful first Advent and that you can light your first candle with your loved ones!
I’m currently packing boxes and decluttering. Unfortunately, I have to take a lot of breaks because I’m still feeling pretty weak. But I’m making progress. I’m determined to finish the attic today, and tomorrow I want to tackle the basement :-)
Hi everyone,
starting at 4 p.m., we’ll be setting up for the art and hobby fair taking place this weekend in the neighboring town... I’ll be there again after a three-year break.
Tomorrow there’s also a Christmas market there with booths from various local clubs... delicious food and mulled wine ;-) ... and getting into the Christmas spirit... I’m really looking forward to it :-)
