These knitting skills are required:

We need
in total for sizes S to L approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl), 100% mercerized cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m yardage, needle size 2.5 – 3.5, gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm with the following color distribution:

• Blue 100 g
• White 100 g
• Dark green 150 g
• Light green 100 g

Depending on the size, more or fewer yarn leftovers will remain from each ball.

Used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cord for holding stitches, stitch markers and row counter (not strictly required), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

The pattern for these socks is inspired by the waves of a moonlit river. Even if you’re not into romance, this pattern is still fun to knit and looks great.
