Super comfortable:

Relax socks, 6-ply, in a simple lace pattern - knitting pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Knitting pattern for pretty and, above all, comfortable wellness/relax/house socks with a loose cuff, which can also be rolled down – so “nothing digs in”..

Leg height as desired. The simple lace pattern consists of just 2 pattern rows.

  • In size 36/37, these socks are suitable for a slightly wider foot,

  • in sizes 41 to 43 for a foot that tends to be narrower or normal-width
The PDF knitting pattern is written for sizes 36 to 43 and illustrated.

General knitting skills required. We knit with a set of double-pointed needles. Difficulty level: intermediate

We need 1 skein = 150 g (yardage approx. 420 m to 450 m of a 6-ply sock yarn; for the short leg of approx. 10 cm shown here, approx. 70 g was used for shoe size 39 Lungauer sock wool by Ferner Wolle (nice and soft), made of 75% merino, 25% polyamide; gauge approx. 22 sts x 31 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm; set of double-pointed needles 3.5–4.0; row counter is helpful; measuring tape, scissors, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Knitted socks are simply wonderful to wear. Beyond that, knitting them is also fun, especially when you use colorful sock yarn. This pattern is intended exactly for that (for the colorful yarn). It’s a simple slipped-stitch pattern that is especially well suited for color gradients.

Here’s the pattern.

You can make beautiful, warm felted boots for yourself and all your family members. With this pattern, you knit the boot and crochet the colorful cuff right on. The washing machine takes care of the felting. That way, everyone gets their favorite slippers. They also make great Christmas gifts :-)

I hope you have a lot of fun with this project. Yours, Ina

P.S. Don’t be afraid to give it a try—the pattern describes and shows everything in great detail. Anyone can do it.

Here’s another close-up: These ones belong to my husband...

Now that you’ve made such beautiful felted boots, of course you’ll want them to last as long as possible. That’s why I always sew leather soles. onto all my felted shoes. You could buy these for a lot of money and then have exactly 1 pair. But you can also make them yourself. You’ll find out how in my pattern, which also includes a template. You’re sure to find an old leather jacket that would be happy to start a new life. Add a few tools that you can use again and again. I also include sources for the materials in the pattern.

Anyone who has ever had leather soles under their felted shoes won’t want to do without them again. The shoes last much longer and also look more professional.

Best regards – Yours, Ina

As No. 3, I’ll show you my customers’ favorite felted shoe model: the felted boots with a roll collar. You can make them bright and colorful for children ...

or sophisticated and elegant in gray for men ...

or make them extra warm for yourself with a veeeery thick roll collar. Those who always feel the cold will never have cold feet again. You decide how warm you want them to be by choosing the yarn for the roll collar, which is sewn onto the finished felted shoe.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project. The knitting and felting pattern is also very suitable for beginners, as I explain and show everything in detail.

Warm regards - Yours, Ina

Socks are a real treat in winter. It’s especially fun to knit them when you don’t have to calculate the heel—you can just get started with my innovative heel method.

Knitting Socks Without the Annoying Heel 38/39

You’ll need 100g of sock yarn and a set of double-pointed needles size 3.0.
It also makes a great Christmas gift.
