How about a few leftover yarn patterns? Or would you prefer craft patterns with photo cardstock, or maybe sewing patterns + sewing patterns?
There’s sure to be something special for everyone.
Have a lovely weekend.

@Authors,

The candy jar with the knitting snowman is an ideal weekend project for using up scraps. You’ll need an empty jam jar, about 30 g of white cotton yarn, and leftover yarn (sock yarn for the hat, scarf, and carrot nose). The snowman is quick to crochet. The hat and scarf are knitted, but can also be crocheted.
The jar can then be used in many different ways: for candy, a cash gift, or gift certificates. It also looks very decorative if you place a battery-operated LED string of lights inside the jar.

Do you feel the same way I do, with your leftover yarn getting out of hand? You can use up a few of them by knitting little bags like these. All you need are leftover bits of sock yarn, and you’re ready to get started.
Especially in the upcoming season, when you often have small gifts to give, these little bags make wonderful gift wrapping.

You can find the pattern here.

You can knit these super-warm slippers from leftover yarn

For this you need  6 different colors of yarn with 150 m/50 g  , the more colorful,
the prettier!

Slippers pattern

The pattern is very simple and easy to follow; the
sizes 34 - 43 are included,

everything is knitted with knit stitches on both right-side and wrong-side rows,
so it really is easy!

You don’t need much yarn for potholders either. If you have about 40 m of thick cotton lying around somewhere, that should be enough for one.
A simple knitting pattern using knit and purl stitches, also suitable for beginners and with a quick sense of achievement.

This way to the pattern.

I knitted this headband from 50 m of merino wool. It’s easy to have this amount left over somewhere, and then the yarn is simply too good to throw away. Why not knit something useful and warm from it? The pattern is a simple knit-and-purl pattern, quick to knit.

A weekend is a great time to make this little Christmas tree (or even several). It’s a wonderful way to add some Christmas cheer to your home or even your office desk.

The little tree is made of cardstock and measures about 16 x 15 cm. It’s
not hard to make, and the crafting itself goes pretty quickly—it’s just that
the glitter liner takes a few hours to dry.

The angels are heavenly quick to crochet and are still easy to make even "last minute." Perfect for using up leftover yarn.

Go to the pattern here

You will receive a detailed PDF pattern (9 pages) with text and a clear crochet chart for each angel.

The angels were crocheted with Catania and a 2.5 mm hook.

Without the loop, they measure 6 cm, 7 cm, and 9 cm tall.

With leftover felting wool, you can make your own warm and practical felt insoles in all colors and for all shoe sizes. All you need is leftover felting wool, a size 8 circular knitting needle, and a washing machine to do the felting. These insoles are guaranteed to keep you warm, because felt is a fantastic natural material. It regulates temperature and doesn’t absorb odors—keeping your feet comfortably dry and warm. Plus, the soft, thick
felt insole acts like a cushion that absorbs the impact of every step. The felt insoles fit especially
well in rubber boots, fishing boots, winter boots, or clogs.

I hope you enjoy the pattern and always have warm feet! Yours, Ina

This pretty heart could be attached to a St. Nicholas Day or Christmas gift for your loved ones. It’s a thousand times nicer than a store-bought pendant, because it shows the recipient just how much you care about them.

The heart is quick to crochet using just 25 g of cotton and a size 3 crochet hook. Even crochet beginners can manage it very well.

I hope you enjoy this project and look forward to giving it as a gift ... Yours, Ina

For this unique Christmas wreath, you’ll need a total of 230 g of yarn in various shades of green. You can use any leftover yarn in any weight. We’ll make pom-poms from the yarn and pin them onto a Styrofoam wreath with straight pins. Doesn’t that look great? Kids can help with this project—no one needs to know how to crochet or knit. It’s a lot of fun, I promise.

I hope you enjoy this free pattern. Yours, Ina

A pretty cosmetic pouch for makeup, jewelry, small items, etc., and a cute TaTüTa (tissue pouch). Perfect for using up leftover yarn.

With this special stitch (crisscross double crochet), you can crochet in rounds without any offset, creating the ideal base for embroidered motifs.

Prerequisites: Chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet

Detailed description as a PDF file with crochet chart and step-by-step photos.
