With this pattern, you can crochet this cute raglan-style jacket yourself.
  • The jacket is explained in detail with charts for sizes 62–122 (in case you don’t have a way to measure).
  • This pattern can be worked with any yarn and any hook size.
  • The pattern is 12 pages long, with detailed instructions and plenty of illustrations.
I made this jacket using COTTON MERINO yarn (50% wool, 50% cotton), which has a yardage of approximately 110 m per 50 g. Hook size No. 3.

This cozy, warm merino wool cardigan with integrated pockets is knitted from the bottom up using raglan shaping. Thanks to the stitch pattern, it has a close-fitting shape while still being nicely stretchy, so the measurements given here fit sizes 38–42.

Difficulty level: intermediate - you should have some knitting experience.

The pattern contains all steps in detail and documented with photos.

Raglan from the bottom:

Knitting pattern for striped short-sleeve cardigan

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

..pretty dressed in trendy stripes with a top under this comfortable-to-wear cotton short-sleeve cardigan. In cooler seasons, a thin turtleneck can be worn underneath.

The PDF pattern is illustrated across 23 pages.

These knitting skills are needed:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together,
yarn over, emphasized decreases and increases from the strand between stitches (are
explained with pictures).

We need
in total for sizes S to L approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl), 100% mercerized
cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m yardage, needle size 2.5 – 3.5,
gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm with the following color distribution:

  • Blue 100 g
  • White 100 g
  • Dark green 150 g
  • Light green 100 g
Depending on the size, more or less yarn will be left over from each skein.

I used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cable
to hold the stitches, stitch markers and row counter (not
absolutely required), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors,
yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Crochet pattern Cardigan/Jacket Raglan XS/S/M/L/XL

This beautiful jacket is crocheted from the top down (raglan). And it’s wonderfully cozy, especially for the cold season that’s coming now.
It can also be worn nicely as a short-sleeved jacket.
I also explain in great detail how the sleeves are crocheted, with lots of pictures.

Contents of the pattern:
Material - Abbreviations - Gauge - Information on Sizes XS/S/M/L/X
small crochet school - lots of pictures

The measurements for this pullover are not just rigidly based on standard sizes. Every body is individual. Since we crochet the jacket from top to bottom, the jacket can be customized completely individually.

Material
  • ONline Cora Linie 20 needle size 4-5
  • Colors stone gray (approx. 500 g), black (approx. 200 g), and white (approx. 50 g)
  • Crochet hook 5.0 (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
  • Buttons (6 or as desired)
What will be crocheted?
  • Chain stitch
  • Turning chain
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • Slip stitch
  • Crab stitch
I have described everything in my pattern in great detail and also tried to explain each technique as well as possible. In the pattern, I crocheted and photographed size L (40/42).

Even beginners can give this jacket a try. And if you have problems, I’ll be very happy to help.

RVO is the perfect technique for truly crocheting outerwear to fit your body. With targeted increases, you can tailor your shirt, tunic, sweater, or vest exactly the way YOU or your body needs it.

My patterns are also fairly easy for absolute beginners to crochet thanks to the calculation examples for fitting and the “stitch-by-stitch” instructions.
Some patterns also include a crochet chart in addition to the written-out instructions. Individual help is also available via WhatsApp or in my Facebook group, as well as by email.

And here are my favorite pieces

Little crochet dress “Teufelswerk.” Individually adjustable in size and length

Have fun browsing and discovering :-)

This jacket is knitted from the top down in one piece without any seams. The gorgeous lace pattern makes this cardigan truly
special! Sizes: XS (S, M, M1) (L, L1, XL) (XL1, XXL, XXL1). The jacket is designed to be worn with 10–15 cm of ease. The
jacket in the picture is a size M1 with 15 cm of ease and
a bust measurement of 95 cm.

This pretty Barbie cardigan is knitted as a top-down raglan. Can you see the raglan lines?

This type of increase is really easy to knit, even for beginners. For the cardigan, you’ll need 20 to 25 g of sock yarn, size 2 knitting needles, and my pattern. Let’s get started! These will make lovely St. Nicholas Day or Christmas gifts :-)

I hope you enjoy knitting it—Yours, Ina

I also have a top-down raglan pattern for adults. A wonderfully warm and soft poncho. The raglan seams are knitted as cables here, and the wide hem is beautifully accentuated. You’ll need 700 g of Olympia yarn (100 g/100 meters) in your chosen color and a long 8 mm circular needle. Over 20 pages, I explain exactly how to knit the poncho. The knitting pattern is also very well suited for beginners.

I hope you have lots of fun making it and receive many admiring glances when you wear it.
Warm regards from Ina

Crochet cardigan for baby girls and for older girls (0 to 5 years)

The cardigan is crocheted raglan from the top down (RVO) in one piece, but because you start crocheting at the back first, a
round neckline is created that has a particularly great fit! How does it work? I'll show you!:-) Explained step by step and row by row in words and with a computer-created crochet chart!

Right now it’s perfect to wear over a long-sleeved shirt or long-sleeved dress - it keeps you warm and jazzes up any simple outfit!

Click here and take a look at more details!

The cardigan is described in detail in 6 sizes:

  • Size (50/56) approx. 0 to 3 months
  • Size (62/68) approx. 3 to 6 months
  • Size (74/80) approx. 9 to 12 months
  • Size (86/92) approx. 18 to 24 months
  • Size (92/98) approx. 2-3 years
  • Size (104/110) approx. 4-5 years
The pattern includes a sketch with all measurements for all listed
sizes. I chose a wonderful cotton yarn that is perfect
for children’s items. But of course you can also use any
other
yarn with the same gauge! The gauge is: 24 double crochet x 12 double crochet rows = 10cm x 10cm

Have fun crocheting!
