A nice little token of appreciation for a kind neighbor, a colleague, or any other sweet tooth: the candy jar with the crocheted snowman who has to knit his own scarf himself (or, if you prefer: crochet it). You can fill the jar with homemade cookies, marzipan potatoes, gummy bears, or other sweets. This jar is also suitable for a cash gift (in coins). Maybe for a friend who loves to knit and gets to choose her own yarn?
The snowman is easy to crochet; you only need a few bits of leftover yarn.
You can find the pattern here!

Money gift as Christmas decoration
A lovingly wrapped banknote, and the packaging also serves as a fun decoration—that’s sure to go over well.

You can quickly and easily crochet an original package from leftover yarn.

Even with Christmas gifts, the packaging should not only be decorated to suit the occasion, but also be appropriate for the age of the recipient. This pattern is ideal for small children, for example.

The gift bag is made from photo cardstock and measures approx. 19 x 18 x 10 cm. It is very easy and quick to make, even for beginners; only the bears on both sides of the bag will take you a little longer, since they are made up of several elements. Thanks to the positioning guides, though, that works without any problems too.

my Advent calendar animals are all great as gift packaging too,
many of the little ones are also available with a few extra details
to wrap a gift even more beautifully
so you don’t buy a pattern just for one use at Christmas, but get something out of it all year round
e.g.
the giraffe - as an Advent calendar animal - quick and easy to crochet
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/22871/adventskalender-tiere-giraffe-gehaekelt-von-dadade

and as gift packaging, it can score points with extras

or the walrus

the little companions are kept simple and are already suitable for beginners

All little girls are happy to get new outfits for their Barbies. And you can knit them quickly and easily. All you need is a little sock yarn, a size 2 or 2.5 set of double-pointed needles, and my patterns for the 7 basic models shown.

All knitting patterns are also suitable for beginner knitters who can knit with a set of double-pointed needles or want to learn how. It’s not difficult, and I describe and show everything step by step again.

I hope you have lots of fun knitting, playing, and giving these as gifts — yours, "Ina strickt"

Maybe you’d like to add a cardigan to the basic designs? No problem. All you need is 20 to 25 g of sock yarn and a few buttons. You can knit the cardigan as long as you like. Just take a look at my examples. With very little effort, you can make special gifts for your children and grandchildren.

Best regards—Ina

Oh, you can’t knit, only crochet? That’s no problem at all. You can make pretty doll clothes yourself too! Take a look here—how do you like this set, consisting of a skirt, bustier, and bolero? Well, I like it a lot; it’s my secret favorite ;-)

Best regards - Yours, Ina

Advent season is also “Secret Santa time.” A keychain like this is a pretty, small, and practical little Secret Santa gift:

Knitting pattern for preemie socks/baby/doll socks/keychain..

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Preemie socks for a total foot length from 4.5 cm can also be used as doll socks or as a keychain and/or as gift packaging for money. A practical little gift in itself.

The pattern, together with the sock chart, can be used for additional sock sizes up to shoe size 20 .

The download includes 4 files:

  • PDF preemie sock chart up to size 20 for baby socks
  • PDF pattern for the individual preemie socks, 4.5 cm to 7.5 cm total foot length
    (23 pages incl. pictures)
  • Detailed PDF pattern with lots of pictures explaining the principle (using newborn socks as an example – 17 pages)
  • PDF handwritten sketches (using a newborn sock as an example – 2 pages)

General knitting skills (as well as knitting stitches together) are sufficient.

Crochet pattern for a cute little sack

The perfect project for the weekend, because you can finish it in just a few hours.

This little gift sack is great for many occasions. Use it to wrap a small gift, attach it as an extra to a larger gift, or bring it along to a party with a small bottle of Piccolo and some snacks. It works up quite quickly.

I have explained everything step by step and in great detail in a 7-page PDF file with lots of pictures. This means beginners can also easily make these little bags and compare their results. There is also a small crochet school included in the appendix.

There is also a 2-page short version without pictures for printing.
The little gift sack will be about 17.0 cm wide and 18.0 cm high.

Materials
  • Catania by Schachenmayr 125 m/50 g, 2 colors, approx. 55 g total
  • 3.0 mm crochet hook (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
What you will crochet
  • Chain stitch
  • Slip stitch
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • Half double crochet
Have fun!

A special and very decorative gift wrapping for potted flowers is this flower pot cover—for example, for an amaryllis or a poinsettia.

The pattern includes both the pot cover and the stars. Everything is very easy to crochet, even for beginners. Before you know it, you’ll have crocheted a lovely surprise for Christmas.

Here’s the crochet pattern for the “Poinsettia” flower pot cover.
