Right now it’s cold, wet, and just plain unpleasant outside. That doesn’t make the weekend much fun.
Bring a little summer mood and color into your home with the shawl "Dream about Summer", and you can enjoy the weekend again!
This is a shawl with a continuously repeating pattern repeat, so it can be crocheted with any yarn you like and in any size you like.

All you should know are chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet.

Here’s the pattern! :)

Are you more into amigurumi crochet?
Then let construction worker Herbärt sweeten your weekend!

What you need:

♦ Crochet yarn in various colors
♦ Crochet hooks: • One hook in the smallest size recommended for the yarn. • One hook approx. 1 mm larger
♦ Craft stuffing or similar for filling the bear
♦ Safety eyes (if desired, in your preferred color and size.)
♦ A button (in your preferred color and size)

You should be familiar with the following: crocheting in rounds, crocheting in rows, chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, color changes, decreases and increases.

Get the pattern here and start right away!

I hope you have lots of fun! :)

With the weather forecasts, my suggestion is also a warm hat.

And it’s for the whole family.

Knitted hat in 8 sizes. From preemies to adults, the size information for this hat is included. In the pattern, it is explained step by step, and the pattern is knitted using only knit and purl stitches.

Why not crochet some bookmarks for your loved ones this weekend? You don’t need to buy extra yarn—just a few colorful bits of leftover yarn will do for the bookmarks featured here.
How about a fiery dragon for a fantasy fan, or the Frog Prince for fairy tale lovers? Or does someone especially love spooky stories? Then the Little Ghost is the perfect choice!
All the bookmarks are easy to crochet and quick to make.

Or maybe a beautiful crocheted shawl?

This shawl was crocheted with Schachenmayr Ombre Lace 600 m /100 g. But you can also use a different yarn. The pattern describes the process step by step, and there is also a crochet chart included.

Since the weather is not supposed to be so nice this weekend, what could be better than spending the day crocheting?

Here you can find the pattern

A shawl is a lovely and relaxing weekend project. All you need is a ball of sock yarn and 4mm knitting needles, and you’re ready to go.
The pattern is simple and consists mainly of knit and purl stitches. There are a few openwork rows in between, which make the overall look a bit lighter.

Or how about a warm infinity scarf for the upcoming cold season? Knit in bulky wool, it works up quickly, and the simple lace pattern is fun.
This infinity scarf comes in different versions: short or long, with buttons or without buttons, knitted in the round or knitted in rows. All of this is included in the pattern.

Have you also thought about your windows while preparing for Christmas? They should be decorated too, and my suggestion for that is an ideal project for the weekend.

These are two of a total of six stars, all made from photo cardstock in the same style and with the same two colors of tracing paper. The stars are approx. 30 x 26 cm in size, easy to cut out and glue together, but since this is quite a delicate pattern, you’ll need a bit of time for it.

Would you like to spend a few relaxing crochet hours on the weekend and make some beautiful Christmas decorations at the same time?

Then this project is just right for you: Crochet yourself some gorgeous stars made from granny triangles!

Click here and you'll go directly to the pattern

The stars in the picture are made from Catania by Schachenmayr (100% cotton, 125 m yardage per 50 g), and you only need about 25 g for a large star and only about 16 g for a small one. But you can also use any other yarn. Maybe you already have something suitable in your yarn stash? Then you can start crocheting today...:-)

The stars are wonderful decorations for the window, door wreath, table scatter, or Christmas tree ornaments.
They are multi-layered, which gives them great stability, and they look great from both sides—so they can also hang beautifully “freely in the room.”

The step-by-step pattern with over 60 high-quality photos and illustrations is very detailed. It includes a precise written explanation and a crochet chart. The PDF pattern consists of 16 pages.

Difficulty level: medium
, but the pattern is so detailed that even beginners with a little experience can give it a try!

You need the following crochet skills for this project: chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet,
double crochet, treble crochet, crocheting in rounds.

Have fun crocheting!

This baby and children’s hat with an open shawl collar that fastens with buttons is a great weekend project. It can even be knitted in just a few hours, as one customer wrote.

What makes it special: Many children don’t like having anything pulled over their heads. This hat offers the advantages of a pull-on hat: nothing can slip out of place, and it keeps both the head and neck warm at the same time. It’s also very easy to put on and take off.

The checked pattern also provides extra warmth. It was created almost by “accident.”

The pattern is written so that even beginners with basic skills can easily follow along.

Click here for the knitting pattern for the hat with an open shawl collar for babies and children.
