Every year again:
Crochet pattern Christmas decoration / star / flower

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

(..but not just for Christmas—with different yarn, these “flowers” are suitable for the whole year.)

The decorative piece consists of two parts, each of which can also be used separately.

The PDF pattern is richly illustrated.

All you need is a small leftover of approx. 10 g of metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester for crochet hook size 2.5–3.0.
But any yarn you like with a suitable crochet hook size can also be used. The size of the finished piece will then change according to the yarn.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes link tips for crochet techniques.

A Christmas tree is an absolute must for a traditional Christmas celebration! And what would a Christmas tree be without decorations? Here you’ll find patterns for four different ornaments (bell, snowflake, angel, star) that are very easy and quick to crochet. You can crochet them with glittery yarn, but they also look very decorative in plain white, as shown in the picture.

Download the pattern for the Christmas tree ornaments here!

Christmas time = crochet time—that’s how it was at Grandma’s, too!
Every year, the hand-crocheted tablecloths and table runners for Christmas decorations
were brought out!
It was also a tradition to add to this collection during Advent!

This pattern is perfect for beginners—this table runner will be finished in no time!
A detailed description of the filet crochet technique can be found in the pattern.
A chart guides you through the Christmas motif.

The finished table runner is approximately 60 x 20 cm in size.
However, the stated gauge and the chart allow room for individual lengths.

And here’s where you’ll find the pattern and more details...

gifts such as cosmetics, jewelry, accessories, or candy.

The little Christmas tree is made of cardstock, measures approx. 16 x 22 cm, and is easy to make.

What would Christmas be without the heavenly helpers?

You can use these cute angels in three sizes as tree decorations, gift tags, decorations for the Advent wreath, or table décor.

The angels are heavenly quick to crochet and are still easy to make even “last minute.”

Here’s the pattern

You will receive a detailed PDF pattern (9 pages) with text and a clear crochet chart for each angel.

The angels were crocheted with Catania and a 2.5 mm hook.

They measure 6 cm, 7 cm, and 9 cm tall without the loop.

I wish you all a wonderful pre-Christmas season - Ina

We traditionally like to give gifts at Christmas. And it’s best when the packaging is beautiful, too. This little Christmas pouch is perfect for that. It really does look festive, doesn’t it? And don’t you think the two white pom-poms look like snowballs?

You can crochet the pouch yourself and give double the joy. I hope you have lots of fun with your Christmas preparations and this project—Yours, Ina

A Santa boot filled with sweets is also a (pre-)Christmas tradition. And why shouldn't it be in your child's favorite colors and crocheted by you? Just look how great it looks in white, rose, and pink. It makes your eyes light up too, doesn't it? So get started quickly, and you'll be finished in time. It's not difficult, I promise. The crochet pattern is also suitable for beginners.

Best wishes from Ina

Crochet Pattern Star Bowl / Potholder

I think a star is simply part of Christmas.

Here I have for you both a bowl in the shape of a star and a star as a potholder - both very beautiful.

I have explained everything step by step and included lots of pictures. There are 2 different sizes, 17.0 cm and 21.0 cm. So you can crochet a lovely bowl in 2 sizes, or make a potholder or coaster from this crochet pattern.

If you crochet this bowl in a lovely red and white, perhaps with some green too, it would be wonderful for the Christmas season. Stars as coasters always look great, but especially at Christmas.

Can be crocheted in a weekend with a little practice. Maybe even in just one afternoon. Only suitable for beginners to a limited extent, but I’m always happy to help.

Material
  • ProLana Joker 87 m/ 50 g
  • Crochet hook 3.5 mm (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/tapestry needle
  • Scissors

What is crocheted
  • Chain stitch
  • Slip stitch
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • Half double crochet
  • Back loop (back loop)
