Scarf or loop scarf? - why not creatively combine both?

Scoodies are simply always on trend...
The cold season is easy to get through with this cozy combination scarf.
Whether under your jacket as a scarf and loop scarf - or over your coat as a scarf-and-hood combo -
always a trendsetter!
The contrast comes from both the pattern and the little flowers.

Once you’ve crocheted the pattern repeat once, you’ll get the hang of it -
even beginners will enjoy this pattern!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
For clarity, the pattern includes 1 chart in crochet chart form.
The flowers are described both in words and in pictures.

The scarf measures about 84 x 40 cm on each side.
The loop scarf is approx. 70 cm high and approx. 42 cm in diameter.
However, it can easily be made smaller or larger as needed.
The gauge helps with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

The tartan technique leaves plenty of room for creativity!

Beautiful colors + simple pattern + great cut = a snood you simply have to have!

This loop scarf in a tartan look appears sophisticated, but is so easy to make,
that it is also suitable for beginners !

The circumference is about 80 cm, and the height is approx. 50 cm.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to adjust the size individually.

You will also find a chart of the color scheme as well as a detailed description in the pattern.
In addition, an extensive photo documentation guides you through the knitting process.
The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Crochet Pattern Children's Neck Scarf
A Christmas pirate is pretty cool; he is crocheted into the scarf using a chart.
The tie makes it easy to adjust the size, and it can also be worn as a headscarf. Plus, there’s no thick knot getting in the way when wearing it.

The scarf is crocheted with single crochet stitches, and the pattern is currently available with a 10% discount in my shop.

Details & pattern

The color change is described in the pattern and shown with photos, so even beginners can give the scarf a try.

The pattern includes the chart for the Christmas pirate and is written without abbreviations. Finished products may be sold.

We knit the shawl from top to bottom; the semicircular shape is created by regular increases.

Materials needed:

  • Approx. 200 grams of yarn in the main color (should not be thicker than 6-ply)

  • scissors
  • sewing needle
Skills needed:

  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • yarn overs
  • knitting stitches together

The finished shawl measures approx. 180–200 x 35–55 cm.

The pattern includes 5 pages and contains both a written pattern as well as detailed, computer-generated professional knitting charts and a link to a video tutorial for the bind-off edge.

Difficulty level: medium (but also very easy for ambitious beginners to knit).

This hat is a small knitting project that you can finish quickly, yet it still features an interesting pattern.

You can find the pattern here.

This hat is knitted from sock yarn in an intricate lace pattern. There’s a knitting chart for it, as well as detailed written instructions. Basically, the pattern consists of stylized diamonds that start large at the bottom, gradually getting smaller towards the top, and then disappearing completely in the decreases.
The pattern is available in 2 different sizes.

This scarf offers a creative play of shape and color. Knitted from sock yarn, it basically consists entirely of knit stitches. But those stitches have a lot going on. You can do much more with knit stitches than just rectangular patches.

Take a look!

In your favorite colors to match any outfit:

VALUE SET: Knit Möbius Scarves/Loops

((To purchase/download, please click the image)

The value set includes:

  • PDF knitting pattern: 3 cast-on techniques /
    knitting pattern for 2 models
; the pattern is richly illustrated
  • Excel spreadsheet with calculated formulas
  • PDF explanation of the Möbius principle
Learn, try out, and choose your favorite method for the basic principle and three cast-on techniques for knitting Möbius scarves/loops :-)

Model 1 – Colorful - is a Möbius loop/scarf with a circumference of approx. 90 cm and a height of approx. 20 cm, which can be worn beautifully in various ways as a shoulder warmer and neck warmer. For this, we only need 1 skein of Woolly Hugs Bandy, here color no. 7.

Model II – Möbius Collar in Milk White fits wonderfully around the neck like a turtleneck, but can also be worn as a headband. This model makes a wonderful gift and can be knitted in just a few hours. For this, we only need 1 skein of merino yarn, 50 g – 85 m, e.g. Merino 85 by Austermann or Schachenmayr.

Both models are worked in a simple reverse rib pattern.

Also included is the Excel spreadsheet for calculating your personal desired measurements for a knitted or crocheted Möbius scarf and the corresponding number of cast-on stitches according to your individual gauge.

Important technical note about Excel spreadsheets: this requires the Excel spreadsheet calculation program or another spreadsheet program that can be downloaded free of charge from the internet, such as LibreOffice. (Note: Sometimes a line saying "Protected View" appears at the top; in that case, please click "Enable Editing".)

These knitting skills are sufficient: cast on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting in the round, knit stitches together, purl stitches together, yarn over, bind off.
A basic knitting course is not included, but link tips are provided.

The “Hold on” shawl is a great accessory with an unusual shape. The shape is created by increases and short rows, and the beautiful leaf pattern along the edge is a real eye-catcher.
