Snowman and Snowwoman are two potholders that even complete beginners can make with ease, since they consist mainly of crocheted circles. And they’re sure to brighten up your kitchen!
For these two potholders, you’ll need about 120 g of white cotton yarn for hook size 3, plus scraps of black, orange, light blue, and pink.
You can find the pattern here!

Even beginners can give this headband a try. You’ll need to know how to knit in the round and master knit and purl stitches. The pattern is written out round by round and also presented in a knitting chart. With just a small scrap of yarn, you’re all set—and you’ll soon be able to enjoy something you knitted yourself.

This infinity scarf is also very quick to make because it is knitted from especially thick yarn. The only difficulty is joining the knitted piece in the round. Otherwise, it is very straightforward; the pattern consists entirely of knit and purl stitches.

Dishcloths or potholders are often rewarding projects for beginner knitters, too. You can try out new patterns, and success comes quickly. You also don't need much material; leftover cotton is enough.
This cloth is made with knit and purl stitches; that's all you need to know for it.

You can find the pattern here.

This cozy set—consisting of a winter hat and an infinity scarf —is super quick and easy to crochet.
Both pieces can be made in no time and are well suited for beginners.

You’ll receive a detailed 7-page pattern with plenty of photos to help you recreate it quickly. The hat and infinity scarf can be crocheted in various sizes.

You should be familiar with single crochet, double crochet, chain stitches, and slip stitches.

Materials needed:
  • Crocheted with hat yarn, hook size 10–12, running length 80 m/100 g; in this case, I used “Tornado” by Gründl-Wolle, 3 x 100 g in petrol-white, color no. 03
  • Crochet hook size 9
  • Darning needle
  • Pompom maker, 9 cm

Basic Hat Knitting Pattern - in all sizes - pattern especially for knitting beginners

Are you a knitting beginner and have already successfully completed your first projects, such as a garter stitch scarf? Now you want to knit a stylish hat yourself too?

Then I have just the right thing for you!

This basic hat is very easy to knit! It is knitted in rows, so no 4 needles that make your fingers get all tangled up at first!;-) There are only knit stitches! Nice and relaxing...:-) Decreases? Yes, this hat uses decreases to create the typical star shape at the crown, BUT... we'll do it together with a photo tutorial. I'll also show you how to sew the hat together so that you can hardly see the seam.

This ebook truly lives up to its name, because each size has its own pattern. Especially beginners can quickly get confused at first with stitch counts, measurements, and decreases when everything is combined in one pattern. Here you can't get mixed up! Simply choose your desired size in the table at the beginning, select the matching pattern, and off you go with your “knit my first hat” project.

Especially with the gray hat, you can see that even a very simple hat can have a really cool look. It looks great, doesn't it?

Click here and you'll go straight to the pattern!

This placemat with a cloverleaf pattern requires only chain stitches, single crochet, and double crochet, and since it’s crocheted in simple rows, even crochet beginners can achieve a beautiful result. The placemat measures approximately 40x30 cm and looks great on both a timelessly modern table and a country-style setting.

Especially at Christmas, there are so many things you’d love to make yourself. With this project, you have the chance to craft part of your own decorations—even if crafting hasn’t been your strong suit so far.

This tea light holder is made of cardstock and measures approximately 15.5 x 4 cm. It’s very quick and easy to make and is perfect for beginners.

The Colorful Kangaroos are crocheted using only single crochet, so they’re the ideal beginner project! These cute little guys can brighten up your keychain, your car’s rearview mirror, your school bag, ... and they’re super practical too!

Here’s what you’ll need to crochet them:

-A little yarn in any color
-A matching crochet hook
-A little stuffing or similar
-A key ring / carabiner
-Safety eyes (if desired)

All you need to know are chain stitches and single crochet. So the pattern is also suitable for beginners.

And here’s the pattern!

I hope you have lots of fun! :)
