UFO Week or jump right into the Christmas Yarn Room?

Dear users, dear authors,
The new UFO project would actually start on Monday, but since many of you are already working on Christmas items, I’m wondering whether it makes sense to open the Christmas Yarn Room right away, since UFOs and scraps as well as amigurumi will be involved anyway.
The new dates for
- UFO Week
- Best of Scraps
- Wool Emperor/Empress / Wool Diet
etc. would then each be in January.

Please share your thoughts.

I have to agree with you, dear Josefa.

As for UFOs, I’d include the shawl I’m currently finishing for my mom and the big cat my friend ordered for her daughter. I’ve already started both, and they’re still waiting to be finished.

Is the idea behind the “Wollstube” that I can then show everything I’ve already finished for Christmas to give as gifts?
So, do you mean individually, whenever something is finished, or only at the very end, when everything is finished?

I think the Christmas yarn room makes sense!

The “Wollstube” is intended as a place where you can present your finished projects right away and exchange ideas with other users and authors.

“No advertising” probably means that I can’t showcase finished items for which I’ve written patterns there. Did I understand that correctly?

You can share the projects you’re currently working on—please don’t post patterns you worked on ages ago—but links to shops or patterns aren’t allowed there. Direct advertising, like in the advertising threads, isn’t allowed there either. The point is to share what you’re currently working on.
But if someone happens to click through to your shop because of this thread, well, that’s just how it goes. :-)
