Dear users, dear authors,
Stars are all the rage. They’re also a perfect fit for Advent and the Christmas season—for example, as tree decorations, pendants, or even as a Christmas star / poinsettia.

And then there’s “that special something” to add to your crafts:

- Stripes
- Patterns
- Polka dots
- Checks / tartans --> very “in” right now, especially in shades of gray on boots, blazers, etc.
- And wave patterns are always a pretty finishing touch for crafts.

Start crafting those extras now.

@Authors,
2–3 patterns are enough. Don’t forget the link, image, and the usual info.

Knitting pattern for a striped short-sleeved cardigan

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Stripes are totally on trend. With a top under this comfortable-to-wear short-sleeved cardigan — shown here in cotton — you’ll be wonderfully dressed for both work and leisure. And when it gets a bit cooler, you can also wear a thin turtleneck underneath.

The PDF pattern is illustrated over 23 pages.

These knitting skills are needed:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together, yarn over, decorative decreases and increases from the strand between stitches (explained with pictures).

Difficulty level: intermediate

We need
a total of approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl) for sizes S to L, 100% mercerized cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m length, needle size 2.5–3.5, gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm with the following color distribution:

  • Blue 100 g
  • White 100 g
  • Dark green 150 g
  • Light green 100 g
Depending on the size, more or fewer yarn remnants will be left from each skein. I recommend choosing alternative yarns with the same yardage.

Used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cable to hold stitches, stitch markers and row counter (not strictly required), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

This hat for babies and toddlers with a checkered pattern keeps them nice and warm and is very easy to knit. Even beginners with basic skills can follow the pattern easily.

The pattern also includes a size chart for children’s hats. Since babies and toddlers don’t like having things pulled over their heads, I’ve added buttons to the front of this hat. This makes it easy to put on and take off—even for sleeping children.

Click here for the knitting pattern for the pull-on hat with collar for babies and toddlers.

Beautiful colors + simple pattern + great cut = a snood you just have to have!

This loop scarf in a tartan look has a sophisticated effect, yet is so easy to make
that it is also suitable for beginners !

The circumference is about 80 cm, and the height is approx. 50 cm.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to adjust the size individually.

You will also find a chart of the color scheme as well as a detailed description in the pattern.
In addition, detailed photo documentation helps you through the knitting process.
The tartan technique is also described and illustrated in detail.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Bangle bracelets made from PET bottles - super chic, comfortable, and trendy!

3 designs in a saver set

Bangles or bracelets are the perfect complement to any outfit and always an eye-catcher. Here, I’ll show you a special method for making stylish bangles quickly and easily with just a few materials.

All you need is an old PET bottle and some yarn (and maybe a rhinestone chain) - and in no time at all, you’ll have a truly unique piece of jewelry. Also great as a gift or a little something to bring along.

The sophisticated pattern, the harmonious color combination, and the pleasantly soft material make these pieces special and one of a kind.

A scarf in double knitting technique with lots of dots looks smart and is fun to make.

Here is the pattern.

The scarf is made up of different motifs that all share dots as a common theme. After the halfway point, these motifs are mirrored. Not suitable for beginners!

This knitted hat has dots too—in this case, the dots are snowflakes falling onto a deeply snow-covered landscape.

You can find the pattern here.

This hat comes in 3 sizes. The winter motif is shown in a knitting chart.

Knit a striped slipover for babies and toddlers (1 to 3 years)

At the moment, a sweater is still a bit too warm during the day, but sometimes a shirt is already not quite enough. The best piece of clothing for children in that case is a slipover! Warm, easy to wear, and with the trendy striped look, also super stylish, right? :-)

Click here and you'll go straight to the pattern with lots of information and photos!

This slipover has something special: the arm ribbing knitted directly on in garter stitch and chic side slits, which are also set off in garter stitch.

I chose two yarns from Debbie Bliss: a summer yarn and a winter yarn. The clever part: they have exactly the same gauge! So you can knit both yarn qualities from the same pattern, depending on your taste and the season!

You receive a step-by-step pattern with many high-quality photos and illustrations! The PDF pattern consists of 12 pages and is suitable for advanced knitters.

Time is short, but if you and your child hurry, you can still finish it in time for St. Martin’s Day, and your child will hold a pretty lantern in their hands during the parade.

Your child can be a big help with this lantern – while you take care of the work with photo cardstock, they can cut out the strips of transparent paper. Then you can glue the cutouts from behind together. The lantern is approx. 18 x 25 cm, making it very handy and comfortable to carry.

stars, stripes, and an I-cord bind-off create ever-changing textures. You can really go wild with the colors. Whether you knit with 2, 3, 4,
or 5 colors is entirely up to you. So rummage
through your yarn baskets for some beautiful yarn and settle in on the sofa with your needles! Knitting fun guaranteed :-))
