You can use up lots of tiny leftover yarn scraps with these little appliqués. They are very easy and can be crocheted quickly in between other projects. You can use them in so many ways: as gift tags, as patches or pins, refrigerator magnets, or as table scatter. I'm sure you'll think of even more.

Pretty & practical way to use up leftover yarn:
Knitting pattern for preemie socks/baby/doll socks/keychain..

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Sweet preemie socks for a total foot length from 4.5 cm can also be used as doll socks or keychains and/or as money gift packaging, or, or.. – there are no limits to your imagination..

The pattern, together with the sock chart, can be used for additional sock sizes up to shoe size 20 .

The download includes 4 files:

  • PDF preemie sock chart up to size 20 for baby socks
  • PDF pattern for the individual preemie socks, 4.5 cm to 7.5 cm total foot length
    (23 pages incl. images)
  • PDF pattern with detailed photos explaining the principle (using newborn socks as an example – 17 pages)
  • PDF handwritten sketches (using a newborn sock as an example – 2 pages)

General knitting skills (as well as knitting stitches together) are sufficient.

Required materials for 1 pair of socks up to newborn size: approx. 10 g of 4-ply sock yarn, or leftover yarn. You will also need a set of double-pointed needles, size 2.5, measuring tape, scissors, a yarn needle for weaving in ends, and a key ring if needed
