This time, the Christmas tree decorations are handmade! These four ornaments (angel, star, bell, snowflake) are quick to crochet and look very pretty in both glitter yarn and cotton yarn. You can also decorate them further with beads or sequins as you like.
A few scraps of glitter or cotton yarn are enough.

These little fir trees make for a pretty and original Christmas tree decoration. The trees are made from cardstock and construction paper, so they’re lightweight and unbreakable.

The Christmas tree ornaments measure approximately 8 x 8 x 7 cm and are very easy to make, even for a fairly experienced beginner.

Every year, Christmas decorations are fun again:

Crochet pattern for Christmas decoration / star / flower

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

(with a different yarn, these "flowers" are suitable for the whole year.)

The PDF pattern has plenty of photos.

All you need is a yarn scrap of approx. 10 g of metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.0.
However, any yarn you like with a suitable crochet hook size can also be used. The size of the finished piece will then change according to the yarn. You will also need crochet hook size 2.5, scissors, and a yarn needle here.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes link tips for crochet techniques.

You can also use this to knit Advent calendar little socks or Christmas decoration little socks in baby sock size:

Socks made from 6-ply yarn - course with charts for all sizes

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

..otherwise, of course, you can also make socks for big and small.

Socks made from 6-ply sock yarn
are a little thicker – and therefore also warmer – and, most importantly, quicker to knit than socks made from 4-ply yarn. They are usually preferred for house socks and bed socks, slipper socks, or for hiking in mountain boots. Men love socks like these in work shoes.

This is basically a sock knitting course, shown in detail with pictures using children’s socks size 32/33.

All other sizes can be knitted according to the corresponding chart information for 6-ply sock yarn .

Included in the download :

  • PDF sock knitting pattern - illustrated step by step (22 pages)
  • Baby sock chart for 6-ply sock yarn for newborns up to shoe size 20
  • Sock chart for 6-ply sock yarn, children’s socks up to adult shoe size 47
We need
1 ball = 150 g (yardage approx. 420 m to 450 m) up to shoe size 44; 200 g – 250g from size 45 of a 6-ply sock yarn, here the especially soft Christmas yarn color 02 “Mally Socks – Lungauer Sockenwolle” by Ferner Wolle was used, 75% merino, 25% polyamide; gauge approx. 22 stitches x 31 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm; set of double-pointed needles 3.5; row counter is helpful; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Note:
For 4-ply sock yarns, there is a separate sock knitting course with corresponding charts here in my shop at https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/5603/sockenstrick-lehrgang-fuer-4-faediges-garn-alle-groessen-fuer-baby-kinder-damen-herrensocken

    Crochet pattern for a bell

Depending on the yarn used, the bell can measure between 9 and 11.5 cm. This makes it perfect for decorating both indoors and in the garden.

If crocheted with Catania yarn, the bell is also suitable as a gift tag.

This pattern is suitable for beginners.
