Dear users, dear authors,
for Halloween, it's almost too late, but for fall décor, for Advent and Christmas, for warm clothing or even something elegant for the holidays and for New Year's Eve, it's not too late yet.
Shop for a weekend project now and get started.

@Authors,
2-3 patterns per author are enough. Don't forget the image and link, as well as the usual info.

Would you like to start crocheting Christmas tree ornaments already? You can crochet these 4 ornaments as a quick side project. Thin cotton yarn or glitter yarn works best for this.

The fun reversible doll “Nilokolausi – Easter Bunny” also makes a lovely Advent and Christmas decoration that children in particular will enjoy, since they love surprises. They’ll never get tired of turning St. Nicholas into an Easter bunny and vice versa.
If you have Catania cotton yarn and some fluffy wool in the right colors at home, you can start crocheting right away. Then you’ll easily finish it this weekend.
The pattern is available HERE!

Haven’t found a project for the weekend yet, or would you like to start something new for a change?
How about the soul warmer “Bridges”?

You’ll get a written, richly illustrated step-by-step pattern as well as the crochet chart.

This pattern can be crocheted with any yarn and a matching crochet hook, and in any size ! (I recommend using a hook no larger than size 5, though, otherwise it will be too stiff.)

You should be familiar with the following stitches:

chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet

Click here for the pattern! Have fun! :)

(To celebrate the long weekend, there’s currently a 25% discount!)

When it’s stormy and rainy outside, it’s really cozy at home on the sofa. A relaxing knitting project for the weekend could be this stole, for example. It is knitted with sock yarn. The pattern is simple and suitable for beginners too; you just need to know knit and purl stitches.

A scarf is a knitting project where you can get quite far in one weekend. This one has an exciting pattern of lace and cables, with a few seed-stitch ridges in between, so you certainly won’t get bored, even though a scarf is often long. The pattern is written out row by row and is also shown in a knitting chart. The material needed is sock-weight yarn.

Here is the pattern.

If you like things a little more complicated at the weekend, because that's finally when there's time for such things, you might dare to tackle a pair of socks in a Fair Isle pattern.

Here is the pattern.

For this you'll need sock yarn in two different colours and a little patience. But the result will surely earn you admiration!

Perfect for a rainy weekend:

Crochet pattern Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

A collar like this really adds a wonderful touch to sweaters and shirts.

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and is quickly finished in an afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.
Other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF pattern basic crochet skills are sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

This shawl is a great project for the upcoming long weekend. It’s worked with thick yarn and 4.5 mm knitting needles, so you’ll see progress quickly and finish it in no time. I designed the shawl so that you can knit until you reach the desired size—or until you simply run out of yarn.
