For us women, love doesn’t go through the stomach...
... we really like it when our men are dressed so smartly :-)

The simple yet sophisticated cable pattern really brings some momentum to the design.
A simple stockinette stitch pattern frames the cable look, making it stand out even more.

This pattern is designed for sizes 48/50 and 54/56.
However, the included schematic and gauge make it possible to work any size!

A detailed description and a chart guide you through the pattern step by step.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Little Leo is sure to love these soft, cozy slippers. They’re knitted in one piece, and the washing machine takes care of the felting. The pattern explains everything in detail.

Of course, you can also make these for Leo’s siblings...
I hope you enjoy making them - Ina

Leo's dad might prefer this felted shoe model with a warming roll collar. The detailed pattern shows from start to finish how this slipper is made.

I hope you enjoy this one too and always have warm feet - Yours, Ina

PS.  A little tip from me: If you sew leather under the soles, the shoes will last longer ...

Baby Knitting Set Jakob - 4 Pieces

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A versatile baby knitting set consisting of a hat, jacket, cowl, and baby shoes.  It is knitted with soft merino yarn, approx. 120 to 130 m yardage (approx. 150 g in petrol + approx. 50 g light beige or eggshell) for needle size 3 to 4. These knitting skills are required: knitting in rows and in rounds, casting on stitches and binding off, knit and purl stitches, edge stitches, decreasing by knitting stitches together, increasing with a yarn over/from the strand between stitches, plus crocheting a foundation chain

Included in the download as a PDF:

Cool guys need a slouchy beanie. Otherwise, they don’t look the part when they’re listening to rap music.

How about this one?

It’s easy to knit, you’ll get the hang of the mesh pattern in no time, and you’ll only need about 150–180 meters of yarn. This pattern comes in 3 different sizes, so it’s perfect even for really big guys.

It doesn’t always have to be baby blue—why not try a rustic set in shades of blue?
It’s suitable for beginners and knits up quickly.

For little boys (but also for girls in other colors):

Crochet pattern Baby Traditional Vest

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Even the littlest ones look smartly dressed in a traditional vest like this. In other colors and with different buttons, the style changes—it's worth trying out..

We need
for size 50/56 approx. 125 g,
for size 62/68 approx. 150 g,
for size 74/80 approx. 200 g,

e.g. Schoeller+Stahl Zimba Top (= 4-ply), 80% wool, 20 polyamide, 50 g – 150 m,
needle size according to the label 3.5 – 3.0, crochet hook size used here
4.0; gauge according to the label 25 sts x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

plus contrasting yarn for edging and bow: 50 g of 6-ply yarn, e.g. Zimba Medium or another (sock) yarn 50 g – 125 m.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, half double crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet, back post double crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows. Post double crochet stitches are explained. The pattern is not a basic crochet course, but does include relevant link tips.

Boys like trendy red too:

Knitting pattern for a baby traditional vest, size 86/92, with intarsia cable

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Not just for Oktoberfest season...

For this special sleeveless baby vest without buttons, we need:

150 g merino wool in gray + 50 g merino wool in red, here Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120, 50 g – 120 m yardage, gauge according to the label: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitting needles 3.0–4.0; here: knitting needle 4.0, cable needle, crochet hook 3.5 for the bow, stitch holder or similar for holding stitches, yarn needle for weaving in ends, stitch marker is helpful.

The PDF pattern includes photos.

The red cable on the back is made using the intarsia technique (an illustrated explanation is included) and requires some time and skill—so I would not recommend it for knitting beginners.

The cable also looks lovely in solid gray, and the whole piece is then knitted up quite quickly. For knitting beginners, I therefore recommend knitting this vest completely without the cable and/or in a solid color.
