Dear users, dear authors,
I'm giving you a little sunshine; you can save it as a supply for gloomy days or use it right away. If that isn't enough sun, we have lots of patterns in the shop that you can make with yellow or orange yarn / photo cardstock / fabric.
Start crafting sunshine now.

@Authors,
2-3 patterns per author are enough. Don't forget the link and image, as well as the usual info.

Little Lennox the lion is reminiscent of summer and sunshine
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

You should be able to do the following
  • Crocheting single crochet stitches in spiral rounds
  • Making a magic ring
  • Slip stitches
  • Sewing on the individual parts
  • So, general basic crochet skills
Length: 25-page crochet pattern with many pictures for every step. I won’t leave you on your own when sewing the individual parts together, either
Difficulty level: Easy, although you should have worked in spiral rounds before. What you need:
  • Approx. 20 g yarn (Schoeller Stahl Zimba medium in color 0218) in the color you want your lion to be. The yarn should be suitable for a 3 mm crochet hook (the Schoeller Stahl yarn recommends a 3.5 mm hook, but it crochets very well with a 3 mm hook)
  • Approx. 20 g threads for the lion’s mane (I used eyelash yarn, but it also works great with regular leftover yarn).
  • White leftover yarn suitable for a 2 mm crochet hook
  • Brown thread for the nose
  • Safety eyes (8 mm)
  • Stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Pins to hold the individual limbs in place before sewing them together

Schlenkerlöwe Lenny and his partner Leana also bring back sunny days
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

What you need:
  • Approx. 60 g of yarn in yellow/beige or orange, depending on what color you want your lions to be. My boy uses Zimba medium color 0218 from Schoeller Stahl. The girl also uses Zimba medium in color 0022 from Schoeller Stahl. This yarn recommends using a 3.5 mm crochet hook, but I crocheted with a 3 mm hook.
  • Scrap yarn in white for the cheeks and the belly. This scrap yarn should also be suitable for a 3 mm hook
  • Approx. 20 g of yarn for the mane; I used “fringe yarn” from the Schachenmayr brand, “Brazilia,” color: 1027, batch: 2206.
  • Threads for the nose and mouth, as well as a thin black thread for the eyebrows and the dots on the cheeks.
  • 3 mm crochet hook
  • Stuffing
  • Darning needle and scissors
  • 10 mm safety eyes
  • Pins to hold the limbs in place while sewing them on
  • Stitch marker
Scope 27-page detailed crochet pattern with lots of pictures showing everything step by step. I won’t leave you on your own when sewing on the individual parts either!
Difficulty level Easy, suitable for beginners. However, you should have worked in spiral rounds before and be familiar with the basics of crochet.

Knitted in sunny yellow cotton, these pot holders really lift your spirits and bring a touch of summer into the kitchen.

You can find the pattern here.

Of course, you’re welcome to use other colors too :-) The pattern is simple and suitable even for beginners. It’s written out row by row and also presented on a knitting chart.

Perfect for the golden autumn, here is a lace shawl in bright orange.

You can find the pattern here.

The shawl is a long rectangular stole that can be adjusted to any size. In addition to a lace pattern, there is also a cable pattern — but both are not difficult and are explained both in writing and with a knitting chart.

If you’d like to hold on to that summer feeling—it will be dark enough again soon—bright colors are a great choice. A crocheted scarf in a mesh pattern with a few cables in between, in the colors of a summer meadow.

You can find the pattern here.

The pattern itself isn’t difficult at all; you should be comfortable with double crochet and chain stitches. How to make the cables is explained in a photo tutorial. For materials, you’ll need two 100 g skeins of sock yarn.

The bright orange of the pumpkins has captured the sun’s warmth! You can crochet the little pumpkin child and its pumpkin in no time, so it’ll be ready just in time for Halloween—a sweet Halloween decoration for a change, not a spooky one! With a few autumn leaves and fruits, it makes for an attractive table decoration.
You can crochet the pumpkin in any size you like; the pattern explains exactly how.

The worse the weather, the more you long for sunshine. And when the sun rarely shows itself anymore, you can help a little with a bright decoration.
Now in fall, pumpkins are a big theme; you can make these four for your windows and make the gray season a little more bearable.

The pumpkins are made from colored cardstock and transparent paper, each about 20 x 18 cm, and are also very easy for beginners to make.

In bright yellow—really radiant:

Knitted Shirt/Pullover 'ALGARVE'

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

..and easy to knit:

Two in one pattern:sleeveless long shirt, ideal for leggings, and with sleeves, a cotton pullover knitted in a simple openwork pattern . Thanks to the pattern, it comes out as ONE SIZE for women’s sizes 38–44. Smaller sizes can be worn “oversized.” Weight gain or loss is therefore no problem.

Material:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (pullover) Austermann Algarve (100% cotton; 50 g – 142 m) for needle size 2.5–3.5; here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, row counter helpful but not absolutely required. Gauge according to the ball band: 27 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

The PDF pattern includes the images from the image gallery (see above); due to the simple cut, no further images are included.

Basic knitting knowledge is sufficient, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over (this is explained).

Orange shades are trending:

Knitting pattern for the YEAR-ROUND BEANIE hat made from sock yarn

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

For this feather-light year-round beanie, which is made with knitting needles in various sizes (the brim with size 3.5 needles, the main part with size 6.0 needles, the decreases with 4.5 and 4.0) and with a size 3.0 - 4.0 crochet hook for the embellishment, 70 g of 6-ply sock yarn is enough, though one skein usually contains 150 g. So you can easily knit a small cowl or even 1 pair of socks up to shoe size 36/37 from the leftover yarn :-)

By the way: you can find a sock-knitting course for 6-ply sock yarn here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/22205/strickanleitung-socken-aus-6-faedigem-garn-lehrgang-mit-tabellen-fuer-alle-groessen

With colorful sock yarn, the color gradient happens automatically—as shown in this picture.

These knitting skills are needed:
knit stitches, purl stitches, knitting in the round, knitting stitches together through the back loop.Crochet skills: chain stitches, slip stitches;
Difficulty level: medium, easy for experienced knitters

A little ray of sunshine is "Giraffe Gunnar". He will be a good 30 cm tall and has his heart in the right place—or should I say: on his belly? :-)

Experienced crochet beginners can confidently take on the detailed pattern and conjure up their very own Gunnar. You will need cotton yarn in yellow, red, and several shades of brown, as well as a small piece of fabric, two safety eyes, and stuffing.

Here the orange of the felting wool shines in competition with the autumn sun. What child wouldn’t want such colorful slippers? Simply knit the solid-colored shoe in the desired color. Then use colorful leftover felting wool for the cuff. It is crocheted directly onto the shoe. Then the shoe goes into the washing machine and felts into a cuddly-soft new favorite slipper. Of course, we also make the sole non-slip. I describe exactly how it all works for you over 39 pages, step by step. You can make felted shoes in sizes 24 to 45. Feel free to take a look at my other sample models. They’re always a welcome Christmas gift, too.

The pattern is suitable for beginners in knitting, crochet, and felting.

I wish you lots of joy with this handmade project and warm feet at all times. Yours, Ina
