Oh, right :-) I don’t know the exact number of skeins.
I have a separate room—it’s sort of a study—with a clothes drying rack and a table, though the table is currently unusable because it’s covered in yarn. Then there’s a shelf that’s packed to the brim with yarn. And since the shelf is full, there’s also a large box that’s packed to the brim as well. Quite a dilemma, I’d say, because where am I supposed to put the new yarn? In the meantime, there are also a few bags stacked up in that room. Take a guess at what’s inside :-)
The most important thing for me is that the area around the drying rack stays clear—I need that, after all.
Oh, and there’s also a cabinet in the living room. And there’s a cabinet in the entryway, too.
I definitely still have 500 skeins of Catania cotton, 100–150 skeins of sock yarn (both hand-dyed and store-bought), and easily 500 different other skeins... And believe me, that’s not an exaggeration...
(I should also mention that I sold yarn online for a while...)
I can’t take any photos as proof because a) I still have a lot of stuff stored in moving boxes, b) my studio is still a shell, and c) I wouldn’t even know how to capture all this stuff in a single photo...
Buuuut....Josefa....I can still become the Wool Empress...I’m working hard to use up my stash right now and—I swear on my life!!!—I haven’t bought anything new since you started this challenge!
