I crocheted both pieces in just 1 weekend; you can do it too, though beginners should allow a little more time:

Crochet pattern for a poncho with Möbius shawl collar (loop) - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Advantage: Decide while crocheting how big the poncho should be
– you simply stop crocheting whenever it feels right.

Here, the poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn, 100 g – 100 m, and an 8.0 mm crochet hook. Yarn needed for both pieces: approx. 700 g.

The PDF pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and is illustrated, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you create is mirrored, i.e., one horizontal half appears like a right outer side, while the second half appears like a wrong inner pattern side. This creates sophisticated effects, depending on how the scarf is draped and how the pattern falls.

Potholder 'It's so green' - Tunisian crochet

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

As kitchen decor or for actual use as a potholder made from 100% cotton – also a useful little gift that’s quick to crochet for all kinds of occasions.

Both the PDF pattern for the potholder and the pattern for the crocheted flower(s) are illustrated step by step.

General crochet skills are enough; the Tunisian crochet technique is explained with pictures.

Materials
:
For 1 standard-size potholder, 21 cm x 21 cm: 50 g light green + 50 g dark green crochet yarn made from 100% cotton/plant fiber for heat resistance, e.g. Schoeller+Stahl Record 210, 50 g - 90 m, according to the label 16 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm), i.e. 50 g per color for the Tunisian crochet hook up to max. size 4.5.

For the flower(s), a leftover bit of cotton yarn is enough, e.g. Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl), for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.5.

Note: heat-resistant cotton yarn (= potholder yarn) is only lightly twisted and is therefore difficult to crochet with, especially for beginners, because the yarn splits a lot. So if heat resistance is not quite so important to you, for example if you won’t place a hot pot on the potholder, you can also crochet it with a cotton-blend yarn, e.g. Pantino by Schoeller+Stahl.

This sweater is finished quickly too:

Knitted Shirt/Sweater 'ALGARVE' - knitting pattern

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

Two in one pattern:
Sleeveless long shirt
, ideal for leggings and with sleeves, a cotton sweater knitted in a simple lace pattern . Thanks to the pattern, it works as ONE SIZE for women's sizes 38–44. Smaller sizes can wear it as “oversized.” Weight gain or loss is therefore no problem.

Materials:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (sweater) Austermann Algarve (100% cotton; 50 g – 142 m) for needle size 2.5–3.5; here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, row counter helpful but not absolutely required. Gauge according to the ball band: 27 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

The PDF pattern includes the images from the image gallery (see above); due to the simple cut, no additional images are included.

Basic knitting knowledge is sufficient, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, slip 1 stitch, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over (explained).

Wonderfully quick to finish in bulky yarn:
Knitting pattern for the SOFTY knitted dress without sleeves - all yarns - very easy

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

..keeps you wonderfully warm and also works well under an outdoor jacket ;-)

The short PDF pattern contains the images from the picture gallery and is described over 6 pages in a way that allows the knitted dress to be adapted to your individual measurements.

Material used here:
Austermann Softy (98% merino, 2% PAM) – hand wash, 50 g = 53 m LL, -knitting needle 10.0 to 12.0 – here circular knitting needle size 10, at least 80 cm cable length. Gauge according to ball band: 8 sts = 10 cm

  • Size XS/S 500 g
  • Size M       550 g
  • Size L        600 g
  • Size XL/XXL    700 g
Stitch marker, measuring tape, scissors, a second circular knitting needle (or thread stitches onto a contrasting yarn) for holding the stitches, needle for weaving in ends.

Any yarn you like with the appropriate needle size is possible.

General knitting knowledge as well as knitting in rows and rounds and picking up stitches (= knitting them on) are sufficient. A knitting course is not included, but link tips are.

These arm warmers look elegant, and they can be knitted up very quickly.

The mock cable pattern is created very simply with knit and purl stitches.
You should have knitting skills in working from a chart and with a set of double-pointed needles.

A quick result that looks great!

Here is the knitting pattern for the arm warmers with a mock cable pattern.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These wrist warmers / pulse warmers are also super quick to knit. So you get a quick sense of achievement and always have warm hands.
Here you only need basic knitting skills and experience knitting with a set of double-pointed needles. Everything else is explained in the pattern.
(To purchase/download, please click the image)
A very easy-to-crochet hat for different styles, so ONE hat design that can be worn in all the pictured variations, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though a thinner yarn is recommended).
  • no increases or decreases,
  • for any yarn you like
  • possible in all sizes.
The PDF pattern includes photos.
You’ll need these crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet.
Everything else and slip stitches are explained. Video link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.
By the way: A crochet pattern for an infinity scarf to match this hat is also available here in my shop:
They’re also a great way to use up leftover yarn. The gnomes can be crocheted in any color.
My shop also has a gnome house and a bundle with the house and gnomes.
A cute little cactus pincushion like this is super quick and easy to crochet, yet it still looks great. And you’ll never have to water these cacti. All you need is a little yarn in green and brown, plus a bright color (for the flower). Great for using up leftover yarn!
